Be Queer, Do Crime!

For the theme of the festival, we drew inspiration from the queer anarchist slogan "Be gay, do crime", and gave it our own little twist. And if the theme is about breaking the rules, we wanted the visual identity to break them in plain sight.

This year, we are bringing colour. Bold, primary colours, each with its own artwork, are loud and direct. The style is raw on purpose, with grungy textures and halftone layers, and the artwork doesn't try to make queerness neat or contained. That deliberate imperfection is exactly what this year’s theme means to us: a little rough around the edges, and impossible to ignore.

At the front of every poster are the people whose stories we bring to the screen. After decades of being cast as side characters and villains, they are now the leads. And in an increasingly digital world, we want to centre real queer faces who are part of our films and part of our community!

Our posters are now up around Copenhagen. Not just an invitation to the cinema, but to claim the city and take up space, fiercely and unapologetically. And if one of them happens to disappear and end up on your wall at home… well, that's our fault for choosing the theme.

'Tiger' follows Taiga, a 35-year-old gay man in Tokyo struggling as a porn actor and masseuse. He returns home when his father falls ill. His sister threatens to expose him unless he drops his inheritance rights. Their escalating clash blurs right and wrong in this raw exploration of identity, family, and the sacrifices made to belong — or break free. by @mixcph
