Almost 20 years of making music together, and moments like this still hit. ❤️

Wesli’s MAKAYA is nominated for Album de l’année - Musique globale at this year’s ADISQ Awards.

I’ve had the privilege of working with Wesli for nearly two decades, and watching his music continue to reach people and receive recognition is something special.

Proud to have mixed this record and to have played a small part in the journey.

Congratulations, my brother. Well deserved. 🙏

I didn’t start in big rooms.
I started learning how to listen.
Over time the rooms changed.
The gear changed.
The responsibility didn’t.
The record comes first. Always.
If that resonates, I’m here.

I was told early on that my job is to listen.
Once I actually understood what that meant, it became the best advice I ever got. by @mixedbygee

Most songs don’t change when you add something.
They change when confusion disappears. #musiccreation

This is a limited collaborative SoundCheck.

Built with Patrice to give artists a clear, honest perspective before they release.
Not about fixes. About alignment.

If this resonates, send me a DM with SoundCheck.

Before touching a fader, I’m not thinking about EQ or compression.

I’m listening for one thing.

Most songs reveal what they need if you stop trying to fix them.

Most artists think something is missing. Most of the time, it’s clarity of intention.
That’s where everything starts

Most artists are closer than they think.
Your song is probably 90 percent there.
It just needs that last layer that makes people feel something.

If you are finishing a track this month and want it to hit its full potential, Holiday Mixdown is open.
