@stamaudio didn’t just make another clone. They recreated one of the most legendary vocal microphones ever made.

The SA-800G is built from the original C800G circuit and schematic, featuring a K67-style capsule, NOS 6J4P tube, custom Sowter output transformer, tube power supply, and the iconic Peltier cooling system found on the original design. With a frequency response of 20Hz–20kHz and incredibly low self-noise, it delivers the same silky top end, detail, and vocal presence that made the C800G famous.

The crazy part? Many engineers, artists, and even long-time C800G users struggle to tell the difference in blind listening tests.

Book now to try out the best microphone in the game at an additional $20/hour

This summer I was asked to create a remix of the song “Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer for @northofnorthshow . I immediately said yes and began working on the beat!

The song appears in Episode 3 of season 2. I’m so happy this fun tune is during a hectic montage 🤣 (also the intro)

Huge thank you to @redwebbedfeet for translating the lyrics from English to Inuktitut. I still love the line “uqaqtunga oh my god” 😭

Another big thank you to Cynthia Pitsiulak who laid down the throatsinging for the song 🫶

Also want to thank @mixedbytekika for being a wizard with Pro Tools and making us sound as dope as possible 🙏

This show means everything to me, I am so proud of everyone for putting this together but I am most proud of my sister Anna for perfectly embodying her character and stealing everyone’s hearts while she does it. Love you sista

The song will be released on all platforms soon, keep an eye out for more updates 👀
