What does 2+6 and 1x8 have in common? ATE.

Welcome home my sweetest baby! You’ve been it since the day you were born, but now it’s just cemented in The MOST Illustrious Sorority. I couldn’t be more proud to call you my soror, my neo, my sister 🥹. It was always you & you know I’m 18 toes down about youuuu.

Effervescent 50. Heavy is the what? by @miyalanee

We had too much fun shooting this💀ABFF said a classic Black Film or TV show, so of course we did the good ole days of a Tyler Perry production. S/o to my community for always supporting the antics. Can you name the movie? @americanblackfilmfestival #abffscenestealers #abffscenestealers2024 #abff2024 by @miyalanee

Ion know man, I guess it really do take a village. Cause I tried for Renaissance x Paris twice & London once. I really do think if Mel wasn’t there I would have real deal fainted and gone stone cold blacked out and not woken up after tickets were done for the day. I literally could not catch no oxygen!!!!! I literally don’t be breathing when it come to Beyoncé. I deadass will prob be the fan on the stretcher at this concert. You would think 8+ shows I’ve seen I’ll be use to it but no. This the only time “a serious matter” holds weight. Cause how tf we managed 4 floor seats for HTX. NOW.. someone help me get club Renaissance for Europe please!!!!! I’ll go to Poland Fck it!!!!!! (This video is also 48 mins long. Ticketmaster count your fcking days! I got something for y’all after the concert! IM LOBBYING!!) by @miyalanee

Instagram gives me the ick & it’s probably because I pysch myself out over “content” & how I want to present myself to a digital, made up world… but making this was such a “soft” decision (since we wanna run soft girl aesthetic into the damn ground!!) &Maybe it came with such ease to post this because it truly is representative of me and what I love! As someone who struggles with imposter syndrome and has for many years as an artist, the divine synchronicity and hidden nuances the universe delivers to me, I don’t take lightly. Whenever someone ask me about how I feel about 2023, I’ve been saying… I’m so damn excited. For the wins and lessons - cause that’s the only L there is. This year truly feels like a breath of fresh air, opportunities and alignment. I’m so incredibly happy and honored to be on the path I’m having FULL audacity to go after.

It’s funny. Last night was the Critics’ Choice Awards and it was reassuring to see Black Women win for their performances & contributions to Media. And long and behold… 1000 miles away, at the same damn time, this Black Woman won. 🥺🥹😭 I know awards and things don’t matter, but it helps knowing someone else believed in and agreed with the choices you made for a performance. Because baby on set… you’re constantly questioning, “yo, what the Fck am I doing??!” Well Miya baby, you did it. And you doing it well!! Yesterday, I was 3x Nominated Actress!!!!! And today, I’m an AWARD WINNING ACTRESSS!!!! Thank you to the Austin Indie Fest Festival!!!!!! & Congrats to all of Twinsies cast & crew for Best Short Film!!!

Slide in them DMs even if she ain’t been active since 1913… cause a bad btch is still on the other side of the phone. She just handling business & sht or having an anxiety attack? That could be it too…

BUT STILL… a bad btch rises!! by @miyalanee

Ahh, baby’s first official music video. I won’t say this is my directorial debut, cause I wanna save that. Haha. BUT, I get so giddy looking at this video. It means so much to me that I can’t even justly form the language to describe the experience. Though I see (a lot tbh) mistakes I wish I could have avoided as a first-timer, I’m still in awe of what we were able to accomplish. So, I am going to grant myself grace and a WIN because baby we did that. And ain’t no mistakes, only lessons. This video was made with so, so much love and it’s only the beginning.

@_sniperpiper, I am so incredibly proud of you and you know we in this thang for the long haul. #CountryGirlsEnt Thank you for not only trusting me, but dealing with my antics (I was tf annoying on set lmao). To my family (my crew is my family fr fr. I hope everyone in the entertainment industry works on sets that become family… if not, come work on mines & we’ll show you a good ass time) ANYWAYS, to my family thank you for your support. I literally couldn’t have survived those 3 days without any of y’all! 2021, we uuuppp! Cause we ain’t playing.. #ATALL & yes, I cried after. And if you know me, you know why. So grateful. All the feels.

Steady taking chances & I’m not gone stop. LINK IN BIO FOR FULL VIDEO! Go watch it naoooww! Please? Thank you 🥺💜

on my heart, as I dive in today... creating. Wanted to pass it forward from two of THE GREATEST ever. 💛 by @miyalanee

[this relates to my previous post, so here it goes]

This is Mary. I’m very protective of her. Mary is what started my journey with the @carolhickeyactingstudio. She was the monologue I chose to perform. But fast forward a year later, I brought her back for our showcase and it was truly all the feels. Mary has a very special place in my heart because though she requires a lot from me, she just allows herself to unapologetically play through me. The emotional depths are heavy, but she brings me joy because I know her victory at the end of her journey. I feel it. I experienced it.

Overall, I hope Rue (from @euphoria ) and Mary are somewhere together, in the spiritual realm, enjoying the beauty of life. I hope they have the peace they deserve.

SN: Y’all like my viola Davis cry? 😂 Mary does that to me every time I share her story. by @miyalanee

If y’all ever wondered what Rihanna smells like, order a FENTY shoe. It smells like wealth, abundance and good health. I’m so serious. She sprays her packages and it is divine.

& Hopefully that’s what this pic is giving. The Rich Aunty in training. Send me all the babies’ Christmas wishlist. (in 5 years 🥴) 💙 by @miyalanee
