👉 In Genesis chapter 3 we pick up a conversation with Eve and the serpent, and the conversation was the first time evil was shown. Eve faced the serpent’s deception, and Genesis 3:1–6 shows how doubt and disobedience entered the story. 1 Timothy 2:13–14 reminds us Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression, a sinner.
