Cuicatl Records Presents Velasco, Stage & Radio 23/10

We are proud to lock in this lineup for our launch event. Velasco rarely plays sets over here, making an intimate showcase at Stage & Radio an incredibly special occasion. Tickets are limited—this is not to be missed.

Big thanks too @_k1ngarthur_official for the poster art 🫶 by @mizzy.dj

Few weeks ago I had the pleasure of spinnin’ some tunes to open @beatport ‘s stage #TheBlock located in the VIP area of @mintfestival !🌳

Here’s a couple clips of what went down for you lot to feast on, w/ the whole set available to watch in the bio🕵🏻‍♂️

Did some serious diggin’ for this and found propa summery tunes to match the vibe. Also played out one of my own productions for the first time - Slide 7 (with more to be sent out over the summer). 🧌

Insane experience and opportunity to do that as my first ever event appearance, big love to the team for picking me from amongst the competition and for their hospitality on the day. 🫂

Was also the first time I had ever stepped up to play on the beast of a v10, so found myself making the odd mistake but it’s a learning curve for next time.👨🏼‍🦯

Once again big thanks to the @beatport team for giving me the chance and my dargs who showed up in support 💕

(Also did an interview for another project so keep an eye out for that😉)

Volume 001 - MIZZY

In this guest mix, our first resident Mizzy - an upcoming and versatile selector - taps into the darker, more rolling side of his musical collection, pulling from both vinyl and digital formats. Expect hypnotic grooves, deep cuts, techy twisters: selections built for a journey, not a rush.
Undergroundd influences run deep here — think festivals like Houghton or Hide&Seek, and DJ talents like Christian AB or our soon-to-be-headliner Velasco.

The end of summer, the last festival edit being for @lostvillagefestival . The festival with the maddest production, best crowd, largest range of music and wonkiest activities to get lost in.
The charging port still being broke meant I didn’t get as many clips as I wanted to fully do this magical gaff justice in the edit, but shit happens.
It’s been fun documenting and making these over summer and I’m feelin’ a lil sentimental now it’s all over, but Tutto Passa.
Forever forward, into the unknown.

ARTIST 006 - MIZZY - @mizzy.dj

Introducing the final name in our artist series.

Lincoln-based DJ and producer Mizzy brings a genre-fluid approach to underground house, moving between deep house, tech, UKG, electro and acid while keeping groove at the centre of his sets.

Still within his first year behind the decks, he’s already won a Beatport competition to earn a slot at Mint Festival, alongside appearances across Lincoln and Manchester and sets at Home Nightclub.

With a support slot for Berlin-based Velasco next on the agenda and his sound continuing to evolve, Mizzy is only just getting started.
