POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Exciting news! MJ and I are thrilled to announce that we will be Artists in Residence at the extraordinarily @lamplightavl space this November. At the residency, we will debut a project called "TRIP TO PLANET PAPERCLIP": a collaborative storytelling + generative collage + worldbuilding experience presented through a series of workshops. The exact dates for the workshop events and the closing reception are TBD, but will fall somewhere within the residency period of Nov 10-20. We are filled with gratitude at the chance to share this project with our Asheville community!!

Please follow LamplightAVL and sign up for their newsletter to keep abreast of all the wonderful things happening over there this season, and stay tuned for more information about our residency as we approach November 💜💜💜 by @mj.g.10

July-October, non-chronological

I can't say enough how grateful I am to everyone who supported my directoral DEBUT with The Rocky Horror Show!!!

Thank you to the ACT staff for the endless support. Thank you to my incredible creative team for being such amazing collaborators and friends, and believing in me every step of the way. Thank you to my compassionate, hardworking cast and crew and band for trusting my vision, fully committing and loving and playing, and for making this experience some of the most fun I have ever had in my life.

And most of all, thank you to every single person who sat in that audience and called out all the raunchy things and threw cards and sponges and confetti and danced the time warp again and again and again. Thank you for cheering on queer excellence and supporting live local theatre. In the face of a facist regime that profits off of loneliness and misery, we MUST celebrate joy and sex and pleasure and art and laughter and community and the full beautiful scope of the human experience.

Thank you thank you thank you ❤️🎉👠🔪🫦🦇🖤 by @mj.g.10
