Benidorm might just surprise you 🇪🇸✨

I visited Benidorm, Spain in December, and coming from the UK, the weather was such a welcome change. ☀️

The beaches, Mediterranean views, Old Town, little souvenir stops… what I loved most was how easy the holiday felt.

No rushing from one attraction to another. We could explore, eat, wander, find somewhere pretty and simply enjoy being on holiday. 😂🤍

And if you’ve reached the end of this carousel thinking “okayyy… maybe Benidorm 👀”, I’ve already done some of the planning for you.

…But if we did, here's exactly how it would go 👀☀️🇪🇸

✈️ Day 1: We land in the sun
Fly into Alicante, transfer straight to Hotel Villa del Mar(I would recommend as they have all inclusive packages), then drinks with a sea view while everyone back home is freezing 🥶

🏛️ Day 2: Old Town and shopping
Photos at the Balcón del Mediterráneo lookout, a wander through the Old Town, then the Plaza Mayor shopping streets.
Tapas in the sun to finish.

🚲 Day 3: Bikes and paint and sip
We cycle the seafront promenade (it's flat, you'll be fine 😂), then a little paint and sip in the evening.
If you go with friends or your partner spice it up a little with one rule, Whoever paints worse buys the souvenirs 🎨🍷

🧖🏾‍♀️ Day 4: Do absolutely nothing
Pool, spa, sea views, no alarms. If we get restless, Altea's pretty white streets are a short trip away.

🧿 Day 5: Souvenirs and home
A little Benidorm sand-and-shell jar each, then home with a tan in December.

I'm just saying… if we book now:
✔️ Better prices for winter sun
✔️ Enough time for a Schengen visa if one of us needs it
✔️ Something to look forward to all autumn
