What started as something I personally loved eventually became such a huge part of my career and my purpose behind the chair.

Living with alopecia has also given me a very personal understanding of what hair loss can do to your confidence. And that’s probably the biggest reason I love seeing the transformation extensions can create for other women.

It’s not just the hair.

It’s the way she feels when she sees herself in the mirror.

Over the years, I’ve also learned that creating a beautiful transformation means nothing if we’re not taking care of the natural hair underneath it. That’s why proper installation, placement, weight, and choosing the right method are so important to me.

And for women who need more coverage than traditional extensions can provide, mesh integration and toppers have opened up another world of possibilities.

After 25+ years, I still love what extensions can do — and I love even more that I get to help other stylists learn how to do them beautifully, safely, and intentionally. by @mj_studiomj

Would you ever guess she’s wearing a topper + one row of extensions?

This is one of my favorite things about toppers. For someone who’s experiencing thinning on top, adding a topper and a row of extensions can make such a difference in fullness and coverage while still looking completely natural.

You really can’t tell where her natural hair ends and the extensions begin.

Such a beautiful transformation and such a confidence boost. 🤎
