I’m over the moon to announce that an EP from my musical ROOT VEGETABLES are out now on all streaming platforms 🌱☀️🌊⚙️

link in bio or search on streaming!

This past summer, we went into the studio to find the sound of the show, and I’m deeply grateful to the artists who brought these songs to life.

This is the musical theater sound I crave to hear in the world, full of folk, rock, texture, and hope.

This was a transcendent experience working with the most phenomenal artists bringing the music in my head to life— sharing the story of ROOT VEGETABLES, my show about looking for hope and utopia and light in the face of hardships and uncertainty.

Thank you to everyone who came to the concert back in September, and everyone who has supported this project along the way—special thanks to Max Keane @captainmacks and Emma Jablonski, and my family and friends!

I’m excited to announce I’ll be performing songs from my newest musical ROOT VEGETABLES at Green Room 42 @thegreenroom42 on September 28th at 1pm, with an INCREDIBLE and MAGICAL group of actors and musicians.

Come spend 70 mins of your afternoon listening to rock-folk-jazz-avantpop music, following the story of Hedy, Caz, and Psy - three friends who move to the Catskills to start a queer farm utopia, near where Hedy’s Yiddish Bundist great-great grandpa Leib had a farm.

I’ve been working on this deeply personal musical for the past three years, and it’s a show that swirls around themes of uncertainty & precarity, cybernetics & technology, queerness, and Jewishness.

Tickets $20-$25- (no food drink minimum!) link in bio!
I hope to see you there!

Performers:
Izzy Marinucci @izzymarinucci
Kenneth Laboy Vazquez @kennlaboy
Russell Norris @russell_norris
Sarah Jae Leiber @sarahjaeleiber
Jack McManus (guitar) @revjackmcmanus
Anna Young (bass) @annayoungmusic
Molly Riviere (drums) @goodmolly_missgolly

+more to be announced!
