Officially putting out into my social media sphere that I will be pursuing my MFA degree at the University of Arizona this fall as a University Fellow with a full scholarship. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about this opportunity.

Virginia is of course my forever home and the family, friends, and environment I’ve existed in and around for the last 25 years has helped shaped me into the artist I am today. The 804 carried me this far but it’s time to see what the 520 has in store 😈 by @mjacks1

I am pleased to announce the opening reception of my first solo show "Visions". Join me on Saturday, January 21st to celebrate the new year and ALL new work from yours truly. 😎

Please RSVP by clicking the link in my bio! I can't say how much I appreciate everyone who has supported me on my photographic journey so far, but I'm only just getting started. ✨🎞🖤 by @mjacks1

Not quite one second everyday, but a collection of seconds from my journey through this past year. 2026 is for seeing more, sharing more, being more. Onward and upward 🍾 by @mjacks1

i’ve been into the plants and simple treasures
and i sew patches on pants and i’ll get pleasure
and i don’t make particular plans cause they don’t matter
…

it’s like the apple eating people that we once were aren’t there
did they empty out their pockets and debase their younger faces
and you must make sure you’re happy when you leave your summer places ✨ taken in Tucson, Arizona by @mjacks1
