Ran my very first 5K at the @shockwave5k and I’m officially a 5K finisher! 🙌🏾🔥 Such a fun experience from start to finish.

I never expected spin class to become a big part of my life. It's more than just exercise and a way to stay in shape - it's my hobby, outlet, and confidence booster. (800+ calories per ride is NO joke!)

Thanks to my instructors & friends @cortezmacktv, @mrgetwitit82, @khalilsstreet, and many others, in addition to the incredible community of @cyclegang for the motivation. More than happy to share that I have taken a new role as a Director of Leadership Development at Southern Education Foundation (still here in Atlanta)! In the role I’ll be in charge of research strategy, programs, fellowships, and partnerships to ensure equity in education for students of color, rising leaders, and C-level professionals in the south. Peep a few of my new team members in the last photo!

While I’ll be leaving Georgia Tech and the Impact program, I have enjoyed my 8 years there and hopefully left an impact (no pun intended) on all of my students, faculty, staff, and all those I interacted with.
