Forever a USF bull 🤘💚💛

My college experience has been a very turbulent 4 years. I spent the last two at USF. While I spent a lot of that time wishing I was still at Florida College, USF gave me new perspective and I grew as a person from it.
USF taught me perseverance, a servant’s attitude, and that sometimes I had to look hard, but joy CAN be found everywhere around me.

1 year ago today, I walked back from Hinely to Boswell with a stupid grin on my face.
Seth asked: “so Matthew, how was your night?”
I answered: “oh it was pretty good” and kept walking
A year later, and I can’t imagine what my life would be like without Emily Balentine.
Emily has become my best friend, my study buddy, my favorite person to build legos with. She is genuine, kind-hearted, a God-fearing servant of others, and one of the best people I’ve ever met. It has been a blessing growing closer to her over the last year, and I thank God for her every day.
