Happy Birthday to my BIG DAWG. The ✌🏾sign king. Fam give me a heart attack any time he near a couch, curb, chair, etc but I love it lol. Fearless spirit and always on vibes. Only took 3 years to break a bone and took it like a champ 🤣. Even learned how to shoot with the left when his right was in a cast. He’s 4 now so we are taking all 1v1 fades haha. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SON! Yesterday I had the opportunity to come back to Chandler High School and speak to an auditorium full of students about my journey — my time at Chandler, and everything that’s happened since I left these halls.

I shared lessons around positive self-talk, giving yourself permission to go after the things you want, and the importance of never quitting, even when the odds don’t look favorable. Among a lot of other things.

What really stuck with me was seeing how locked in the students were — listening, processing, and asking thoughtful questions afterward based on what they heard and saw.
And shoutout to the student who told me it was her favorite guest presentation ever 🥹 — that meant more than you know.

I’m always grateful for the opportunity to pour into the next generation, especially the ones who come from where I come from. Being able to return home and give back in this way is something I’ll never take lightly.

The inner child and mommy in me, are so over joyed! Watching my child(ren) living their best lives over these past couple days has been… EVERYTHING! There were moments where I thought I was 5 again. 🥹😂

Zenith was a trooper! We were up at 5am, she did not nap, cried once, and stayed up til 8/9pm each day! From waiting in lines to chasing characters, she was all in!! Her adrenaline was high and she had the best time!!! I think it’s safe to say she had the best birthday ever!!!

To our people, thanks for adding to her experience! We are grateful to have shared this moment!!!
