Michael Jacksons £1 Billion dollar movie! I predicted this would happen before it was released on my podcast interviews! Congratulations to all involved! I still think it will go on to be the biggest movie of all time! The power of Michael Jackson’s brand! My late friend Michael Jackson would be looking down smiling proving the critics wrong again. My friend was a genius when he was alive and when he is no longer here he continues to break records! So proud of him 🙏 #mattfiddes #michaeljackson #michaeljacksonbiopic by @mjj_star

Treat for the Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston fans. 🎤 Whitney wasn’t well at this time, fighting her own demons. She still gave it everything to perform alongside Michael, even turning up painfully thin. And Michael? Nothing but kindness. He understood exactly what she was going through and reassured her every step of the way. 💔 Watching them embrace at the end of that duet rehearsal hits hard, knowing they’d both leave us just a few years later. Two of the greatest voices the world has ever known. Gone too soon. 🕊️🤍 #MichaelJackson #WhitneyHouston #Legends #KingOfPop #mattfiddes by @mjj_star
Michael Jackson’s final rehearsal of Billie Jean for his last ever full show to an empty Madison Square Garden in New York! 🎤 A treat for the fans and followers on Michael’s 17th anniversary of his passing today. 💔 Never before seen footage of Michael rehearsing Billie Jean. Here you can see a snippet of the man in action! You can see Michael in full control with his normal deep voice, getting annoyed with his band who could not get the famous Billie Jean spotlight right! Those people who think Michael was a clown? This footage shows you how much he demanded of all of us around him. He wanted perfection. And to never let his fans down. Rest easy, MJ. 🤍 #MichaelJackson #BillieJean #17Years #mattfiddes #KingOfPop MJ Legend RIP by @mjj_star
How protective Michael Jackson’s father Joseph Jackson was of Michael and all his children! This happened at the family home “Hayvenhurst”. Tito RIP told me this funny story how he was the “Hawk “ and always looking out for him the best way he knew. It’s my belief had Joseph got to his son Michael in the the last few days he would still be alive today!! What’s your thoughts? #michaeljackson #josephjackson #mattfiddes #michaeljacksonbiopic by @mjj_star
Michael Jackson was the loneliest man in the world 🌍 It’s lonely at the top! And you don’t get no bigger than Michael Jackson. When I first met him I thought his life would be of glitz and glamour! So far from the truth! No one called, paparazzi would chase him down like an animal! Death threats, money grab lawsuits! Staying under fake names! People taking pics of him sleeping on commercial flights. I used to wonder if it all was worth it. Michael never seemed to stop working! All through the night keeping me awake! Setting huge goals! I never seen anyone with that work ethic and attention to being perfect for his fans. I got to witness a level of success I would not dream on my worst enemy. There will never be anyone as famous again as Michael Jackson. He lived for his fans, helping the needy, charities and his 3 children. And his beloved Mother. A very isolated world where we could not even have his hotel suite curtains open as he would get recognised by his shadow and other hotel guests would complain! His success drove him to sadness. What my friend did not ever realise is that his biggest competition was himself Michael Jackson! #mattfiddes #michaeljackson by @mjj_star
Michael Jackson was tricked countless times by Martin Bashir! I sat in a hotel suite watching Martin Bashir say everything he possibly could to convince Michael to go with him with the “Living with Michael Jackson” documentary other than the two other options Michael was looking to work with. Sir David Frost or Louis Theroux. Michael wanted to clean up the myths and lies spread about his life. And focus on his creative process of music and dance and put it all to bed for good with an amazing documentary. Sadly Martin convinced Michael with a Princess Diana handwritten note. Michael loved Princess Diana and that sold it for Michael Jackson. For myself and the 3 others in the meeting it all sounded too good to be true! For once a prime time documentary that would be positive about Michael? Martin told Michael infront of us he could have edit control so there was no risk and can sign off a final edit in the USA. 7 months of filming and Martin Bashir did not show up at the Miami hotel Michael was told to wait to watch a proof copy for his approval of the documentary. Michael Jackson went into panic mode and our phones were calling off the hook! We quickly did witness statements for Michael on Martins initial sales pitch for his london lawyer Michelle Boots. Now over 20 yrs later we have to put up with another silly documentary about Michael on Netflix. In death they still won’t leave him alone and want to cash in on him. Sadly you can’t defame a dead person! That law needs to change !! It’s a cash grab! I have seen it all before! And how devastated Michael was after he failed to win an injunction due to lack of time to stop the Bashir Doccumentry from being aired. Michael was found innocent by one of the toughest district attorneys in the USA who was out to get Michael Jackson. Netflix I understand need to make money. He was already found “Not guilty “ and completely vindicated by the jury and by a FBI investigation that he did not know was even happening for over tens prior. Riding off the back of Michael’s number 1 movie, Number 1 book, Number 1 Album , and Number 1 singles currently. Bad business and unethical. #michaeljackson #ma by @mjj_star
Michael Jackson’s wise business brain! 🧠 😉 As you can see it was very difficult to take Michael out in public! Most the time it would be me and one other bodyguard that would protect Michael to not draw too much attention to him! When indoors we would spend hours talking about business and ideas. Michael’s mind never stopped ticking and he would read 3 to 4 Non- Fiction books per week. He was a big fan of motivational speakers. People assume I was paid by Michael Jackson to protect and look after him. The truth is I was privileged enough to become a Multimillionaire through my martial arts chain and property portfolio before I met him at 19. I have never earned off Michael and refused as well reported ridiculous sums of money to turn on my superstar friend. Unlike others I did not want or need his money. Something he was not used too. If you notice every family who makes an allegation against Michael are broke! You don’t find rich families coming after MJ with ridiculous allegations! It’s all and always will be about the money 💰 What Michael did do for me though is teach me how to build the biggest brand of martial arts and dance schools in the world. Michael taught me to think big! And to always give people other opportunities. Have to Franchise my 5 martial arts schools to over 2050 locations worldwide today! Because of Michael Jackson keeping me accountable long after the body-guarding stopped he taught me to build a business that was valued 5 years ago to be worth over £120 million! And to build the largest property portfolio privately owned in the South West of the UK. I am not bragging I am hoping to inspire you all and learn what I was taught from him that anything is possible! I came from nothing working as a lifeguard for £2.75 per hour living in a bedsit I would not let a rat live in! Like you saw in the #michaelmovie Michael believed anything was possible. Whatever your mind could believe it could conceive! Now I teach people what Michael Jackson and his inner circle taught me! How to start or scale a business they already have. Or give them a chance to become my business partner! #michaeljackson #mattfiddes #busine by @mjj_star
Michael Jackson and his MF martial arts skills!! The main reason Michael Jackson wanted to meet me was to continue on with his martial arts training along with his best friend “Oliver Twist” lead actor Mark Lester. Michael’s Father Joe Jackson made all of his sons study martial arts when they were in the Jackson 5. Joe wanted them able to protect themselves if needed. On the first time he met me he asked would I train him and Mark Lester. He said he loved breaking boards! And can I help him meet Bruce Lee’s only surviving daughter Shannon Lee and his Widow Linda Lee. Michael wanted to study what made Bruce Lee so relevant all these years after he has passed away. Plans were put together through my instructor John Graden and Karate legend Joe Lewis in the states who knew the Lee family. Michael put martial arts into his dancing routines and we continued to practice with Mark in hotels and private gyms , homes all over the world. Michael had been presented honorary Black belts in the past from different countries. With me though he trained with Mark Lester to 2nd Dan MF Black belts. I talk about it in great detail in Lee Matthews podcast. Link 🔗 in my stories to watch the episode! Michael Jackson behind the scenes dealing with media! 🙈🙈😳😳 And my role as his bodyguard and friend was to protect him from everything and to give him his much wanted privacy he craved for. Even behind the scenes in our private moments hanging out we would find cameras and media would invade his privacy. They always found a way in! Here you can see myself behind Michael Jackson feeling frustrated that they found us and they were asking my friend questions for their own gain. Stupid questions too! They forgot or could not care he was a human being just like us. They would even go as far as hanging out in the bathrooms to try and catch him to photograph. So I would always have to make sure they were empty and closed for him! Michael always said to me if it was not for the UK 🇬🇧 ruthless tabloids he would love to live in London full time. They just would not leave him alone though to the point of it being dangerous at times. Michael would be polite and respectful to them and then it was my job to play bad cop and ask them to leave Michael alone as his friend and bodyguard. Everyone thinks his life was glamorous! Although we literally could not do anything without him being recognised. Michael would never complain about the fans finding him though. Especially when they took risks to meet them he would thank them for their love ❤️ In later years long after the trial we set up a temporary home in the Cotswolds in the countryside so he could be near his close friend Mark Lester. We would visit him there any nobody found out he was in the UK. We even stayed at Marks house in Cheltenham city centre! No would noticed apart from a few clever fans !! #mattfiddes #michaeljackson #michaeljacksonbiopic by @mjj_star
