Many thanks to all who supported us during Day of the Badger! Because of you, we are able to continue to help students honor Mercile J. Lee’s mission, transform their lives, and become impactful leaders. We truly could not do this without you.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the October Program Meeting on 10/23!

This month’s fireside speaker features alumna, Danielle Yancey ‘04—Director of the Native American Center for Health Professions here at UW-Madison.

Come to hear her story, experience as a scholar and words of wisdom.

Happy Fall! Meet our unbe-leaf-able MJL Administrative Intern, Ebenezer 🍂

She will be the friendly face scholars see at our office, the behind the scenes guru and a wonderful resource about campus life! Don’t be shy—come by and say hi if you’re ever in-person.

Closing out our Summer Staff Summary is no one other than our Health Careers Liaison, Lina (pronounced Lie-na).

She had a blast this summer meeting cats across Taiwan. Next time she goes back, she plans to actually spend time with her family 🐈 #UWMJLSP by @mjlscholarsprogram

Despite living in Madison for 12 years now, our Associate Director Kao Yong has never hiked the bluffs at Devil’s Lake State Park—about an hour, northwest of Madison!

This summer, she went with her family to witness the beautiful view and had lots of fun! 🪨☀️ #UWMJLSP by @mjlscholarsprogram
