Mexican Soul Book Launch.

@santiagolas’ debut cookbook, Mexican Soul, arrives this August and @kol.restaurant will be hosting the launch. The book explores how Mexican flavour can be unlocked anywhere in the world, using what’s local and in season.

Join us on Sunday 9 August, 1–4pm, at KOL for a relaxed standing celebration - tickets are £70 per person and include a signed copy, a live Q&A with Santiago, and four dishes from its pages.

KOL at Tate.

This July, @kol.restaurant is collaborating with Tate Modern in honour of Frida Kahlo.

The evening begins with a walk-through of Frida: The Making of an Icon, led by Tate’s expert art guides. Then, a five-course dinner of KOL classics by @santiagolas and the team - caviar and langoustine taco, dry-aged duck with koji mole, and a special dessert inspired by the watermelon in Frida’s final painting, Viva La Vida.

Tickets are £350 per person, including exhibition entry, a welcome cocktail, the tasting menu, and two paired drinks.

Another year at the @nationalrestaurantawards!

Bursting with joy and pride to see both of our restaurants in the UK’s top 100 - @anglothai returning for a second year at No.14, and @kol.restaurant featuring for the fifth year, this time at No.52.

None of this is possible without our incredible teams, who show up every single service with such dedication and heart. And what an inspiring evening it was, being in a room full of the people who make this industry so special.

International Women’s Day feels important today and every day, because of the women across our team who bring passion, leadership and care to everything we do. If we’re going to mark it, it has to be grounded in something real.

That substance sits in the numbers, which tell a story we’re proud of. Across our restaurants, women make up 40% of our team, 60% of our support office, and 46% of leadership roles.

This summer, @Kol.restaurant’s @santiagolas will serve a special menu inspired by Frida Kahlo: The Making of an Icon at Tate Modern.⁠

Born in the same city as Frida, the collaboration is deeply personal, translating memory, identity and resilience into flavour through Mexican heritage reimagined with British produce.⁠
