Day 3-4 in Scotland: Somehow stuffed 5 girls’ luggage in the back of a rental car and bravely took the wheel for our journey up to Isle of Skye. Pit stop at Eilean Donan castle. Then Full day exploring the Trotternish peninsula, which felt straight out of a fantasy novel, followed by a very classy evening making friends w the Portree locals. Wearing one of my top 5 best (worst) outfits and having one of my top 5 best (worst) hair days, we drank mysterious pepto bismol shots, shut the bars down, learned Scottish jigs in the town center at 2am and got sent home by the cops. Then we went home to our cute (but haunted) Airbnb where a spritely sounding, Scottish ghost whispered “I’m your friend” in my ear while I was trying to sleep. Super cool (sarcasm) taken in Trotternish Peninsula by @mjsusername

One full year of being Auntie M! Happy 1st Birthday to my chunky, smiley boy🥹

As the cool, spunky, and slightly-cuckoo auntie, it’s only fitting that I make an aggressive, 20-slide IG post that will surely embarrass you one day. But that’s my job and I don’t take it lightly.

It’s bittersweet watching you grow, but maybe that’s the lesson. Every stage asks us to let go of who you were so we can fully embrace who you’re becoming.

1/2 of 2026 ~ I think I’ve been too hard on myself this year.

I’ve spent a lot of time focusing on the ways I don’t feel good enough, while simultaneously feeling like I’m too much.

But when I look at myself in third person, all I see is a woman radiating joy, playfulness, and love.

Funny how we’re often the last ones to notice the good in ourselves.
