Navigating the Medina in the dark while in Marrakech is not for the faint of heart.

The payoff is very sweet though. Many of these riads open up into beautiful courtyards with a limited number of rooms.

Once you learn your way and follow common sense safety practices you’ll be just fine. Enjoy this glimpse into local culture. You’ll be spoiled for breakfast and service is really something.

Save and share this with your favorite travel buddy.

Should I make a reel sharing more info about our Riad?!? 🤔

I can’t be the only one that feels this way…

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS)

Perhaps it’s the fact that I always land here after not getting a full night’s sleep, or that it’s one of the busiest airports in the world. It’s always packed and chaotic.

Want to go to a lounge? Best of luck, you gotta figure out if you’re in the right area if not you’ll be visiting a couple before you find the right one based on your destination. So many have Priority Passes nowadays and lounges are often packed.

You’ll be walking… a lot! Wear comfortable shoes and bring your patience. This is not the airport for tight connections.

On a good note, traveling during the holidays it is beautifully decorated. 🤩

There’s one country I don’t need to go back to:
Costa Rica 🇨🇷

I’m obsessed with traveling and the goal has always been to visit as many countries as I can. After visiting almost 40 countries there’s so many I go back to over and over again (UK, Panama, Iceland, and Italy for example) and the only one I don’t feel like I need to go back to is Costa Rica.

I know that’s a super unpopular opinion since so many retire, invest and surf there. It just wasn’t my vibe. In my opinion it was a bit pricey and didn’t stand out compared to some other wonderful destinations in Central America. I’m also not extremely outdoorsy and prefer visiting cities. San Jose has some highlights but I think I experienced what I wanted to from there. It was very pretty, I was in great company and checked it off my list ✅.

There are concerts… and then there are moments that make you feel connected to millions of strangers at once. 🇵🇱❤️🐰

Hearing thousands of people sing every word in Spanish in the middle of Warsaw was one of those moments.

If you’ve ever been to a Bad Bunny concert, you know it’s more than a show, it’s a celebration of who we are as Latinos, and our beautiful language!

Que en cada vida me toque ser latina 💙

Planning a trip to Warsaw? Save this list for later! 🇵🇱

Warsaw surprised me. It isn’t the kind of city that tries to impress you immediately. The more I explored, the more I appreciated its history, resilience, and the contrast between old and new.

If it’s your first visit, these were some of my favorite experiences:

⭐️ Wander through Old Town
⭐️ Explore the Royal Castle
⭐️ Wander around Łazienki Królewskie
⭐️ Take in the views from the Palace of Culture & Science
⭐️ Experience a live Chopin concert
⭐️ Visit the University of Warsaw Library Rooftop Garden
⭐️ Try traditional Polish food (and don’t skip the vodka!)

If you have 2–3 days in Warsaw, this is a great place to start.

Sometimes the best souvenirs aren’t things, they’re moments.

I came to Warsaw to explore a new country, and also to end up at Bad Bunny’s first-ever concert in Poland.

Safe to say… this trip just got a whole lot more unforgettable 🇵🇱.

Who was also there?

First impressions of Warsaw 🇵🇱

I’ll admit it, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.

My first day was spent wandering the city on foot, and these were my immediate thoughts:

• It’s much bigger than I imagined.
• The mix of modern skyscrapers and historic buildings is fascinating.
• The murals and street art caught me by surprise.
• We walked… a LOT.

We explored the Old Town, admired the architecture, and ended the day with early dinner at Restauracja U Wieniawy, where we had our first Polish pierogi (and some of the friendliest service).

Warsaw didn’t feel like other European capitals I’ve visited. It has its own personality, and I’m excited to see how my opinion evolves over the next few days.

They say don’t let the weather ruin your trip… and honestly, they’re right!

We landed in Warsaw to pouring rain, walked down airplane stairs instead of a jet bridge, and sprinted through the storm to the airport bus.

But you know what? Rain still counts when you’re experiencing somewhere new.

🇵🇱 Poland is officially my 46th country and country #35 with Gavin, which makes every soggy first impression so worth it.

Some of my favorite travel memories haven’t happened under perfect weather conditions, they happened because we embraced whatever the moment gave us.

Paris isn’t perfect.

It’s crowded. It’s busy. Sometimes it’s very, very hot. Sometimes your plans don’t go as expected.

And yet… every time I leave, I find myself planning my next trip back.

Anthony Bourdain (my favorite traveler of all time) said it better than I ever could, so I’ll let his words do the talking 🇫🇷.

One thing I’ve learned from traveling while working a 9–5:

You don’t need unlimited vacation, you need a plan!

This view came from using my PTO intentionally, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
