Happy Happy Birthday to my ride or die for the last 42 years, @diamondosu! Even though you aren’t on social media, you KNOW I had to give you a birthday shoutout!

You are my fun-loving, big-hearted, Jesus freak, puzzle wiz, Momma Bear, white girl who tries to dance but has ZERO rhythm 😂💃🏼, adventure-loving, ridiculously faith-filled, BEST auntie, inspiration, mentor, and forever little sister! Your heart is so good, your faith is contagious, and your love for Jesus and others is something special. You inspire me more than you know, and I’m so grateful God chose us to do this life together!

My prayer is that this next year is filled with faith that moves mountains, joy that overflows, peace that surpasses all understanding, and love so RIDICULOUS it makes absolutely no sense! May God blow your mind with His goodness, open doors you never imagined, and bless you beyond anything you could ever ask or dream! 42 years of sisterhood, laughter, adventures, memories, and a whole lot of JESUS! Yesterday, Espn was in a bike accident with another bike buddy that landed us in the ER and eventually being MedFlighted early this morning… just for God to show out AGAIN!
After all the fear, scans, tests, doctors, and prayers, Espn came out of it with no broken bones, no major injuries, and no emergency surgery. Just some impact trauma to his legs, a sore little body, and one VERY expensive helicopter ride. 😜🚁

GOD, YOU ARE SO GOOD.

I’m convinced Espn’s guardian angel has to be one of the mightiest warriors on the front line, because God’s hand of protection was ALL OVER my baby. 🥹🙏🏽

And I can’t say enough about our community. The number of people who reached out last night and this morning, prayed, checked on us, loved on us, and covered Espn in prayer was overwhelming. Thank you. I have no doubt those prayers played a huge part in the outcome we are celebrating today.
We walked into that hospital scared and walked out incredibly grateful. God protected him, carried us through, and reminded me once again that He is faithful.
And because Espn never does anything halfway… what a GREAT first day of 4th grade. 😂😜🙏🏽

Lord, thank You for another school year and for the incredible gift of my Big 3 and all of their friends. As they walk into 4th, 7th, and 11th grade, go before them and beside them every single day. Protect their hearts, minds, and bodies. Give them confidence to be exactly who You created them to be, courage to stand for what is right, wisdom to make good choices, and kindness to love people well. Surround them with great friends, teachers, coaches, and mentors who will encourage them and bring out the best in them. Help them work hard, embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and never allow a grade, a game, a friendship, or someone else’s opinion to define their worth. Remind them that their identity is found in You. May they be leaders, light in dark places, and a blessing to everyone they encounter. Let them walk into this year knowing they are deeply loved, fully capable, and never alone. Lord, protect the Big 3 when I can’t be there. Guide their steps and use this year to grow them into the people You have called them to be.

Fourth. Seventh. Eleventh. Here we go 🫶🏽🙏
God, they’re Yours before they’re mine. Lead them, protect them, and let them shine.

Happy 10th Birthday to my baby, Espn Baker. God truly showed out when He created you. He gave you a bigger-than-life personality and a heart that loves everyone you meet. I am so proud of how hard you work, the way you make every person feel seen and special, the confidence you carry, and how boldly you shine for the Lord without shame.

You are the funniest person I know, one of the kindest, and a light that brings joy wherever you go. God has an incredible purpose for your life, and this world needs more people like you.

What a 4 days with Grandma Nicki Jones

She shot hoops, learned how to throw alley-oops, cheered on her great-grandbabies at their games, won some money on the Wizard of Oz slot machine 🎰, met my tribe here in Kansas, relaxed by the pool, picked weeds (because she literally couldn’t help herself 😂), ate some amazing food, and most importantly… made memories we’ll never forget.

At 81 years old, she left sunny Florida to come all the way to Kansas just to love on all of us. That kind of love, energy, and selflessness is rare.

I already know my grandma is better than yours. 😉❤️

Happy 14th Birthday to my incredible nephew Carson Diamond. You are my big friendly giant standing at 6’6 with the biggest heart and so fun to be around. Happy 81st Birthday to the one and only Grandma Nicki! Our family’s firecracker. The woman who loves fiercely, gives selflessly, speaks truth with wisdom, and has always been the steady rock our family can count on.

Grandma, you’ve shown us what strength, resilience and unconditional love look like. You have a way of making everyone around you feel seen, supported, and deeply loved. My kids are beyond blessed to call you their great-grandma, and I am forever thankful for the incredible impact you’ve had on all of our lives.

Thank you for every lesson, every laugh, every sacrifice, and every moment you’ve poured into our family especially all you did to raise Angie and I. Here’s to celebrating 81 amazing years of a woman who continues to inspire us all. We love you more than words can say. Today I’m wearing the sweatshirt Kent gave me for my birthday in March. It’s just one more reminder of the kind of man he was always thoughtful, always giving, always thinking about others.

My heart is still so heavy. I’m going to miss Kent deeply, but I also hurt for his family, our community, and everyone who was touched by his passion and servant’s heart.

Kent dedicated his life to advocating for Type 1 diabetes awareness and disability awareness. He didn’t just talk about making a difference, he lived it every single day. His courage, generosity, and unwavering commitment inspired so many people, including me and our team.

I’ll never forget having him speak to our team for Mentor Monday or partnering with him during our diabetes awareness game in November. He used every opportunity to educate, encourage, and create a better world for others.

Kent’s legacy will not end here. His impact will continue through every life he touched, every person he inspired, and every advocate who chooses to carry the mission forward. I promise to do my part to keep that legacy alive.

Thank you, Kent, for showing us what it looks like to fight for something bigger than yourself. Your life mattered, your impact mattered, and your legacy will continue to make a difference for generations to come.
