RIP Mopsy. 20 yrs old and scruffy. The discount dog that no one wanted—they just kept marking her down until we took her home, my constant little companion. She loved popcorn, a sunny patch to nap, hated baths, snow, rain, and most car rides. The one exception was riding in the Bug with the top down-this made her smile.

Brian lost his mom this week. Please keep his entire family in your prayers. Arlene was a beautiful mom, wife, and friend to everyone. Her immense kindness, humor, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
My kids were so lucky to have had her as their grandma. I will personally miss her devious laughter and the mischievous twinkle in her eye she’d get when telling stories about the old times.
Godspeed, Arlene—tell Don we all say hi. We’ve got it here. You’ve raised good, strong human beings who will watch out for and take care of each other. by @mjtveit

I’ve been asking Brian to replace our kitchen for 23 years… and tomorrow we finally begin.
This original 1959 space has been the bane of my existence, but somehow this ugly kitchen became the heart of our home.
Family dinners. Neighbors dropping by. Crazy friends. Even a Rock Band.
Heartbreak, love stories, life lessons, the weirdest conversations, and a whole lot of really loud laughter all happened right here.
I even started my business sitting at this bar.
Excited for the new one — but grateful for every memory made in this old space.

This year, with the help of Chick-fil-A, Season of Hope from @kshb41 , and our amazing friends on social media, plus a celebration day at @cfa135th helped us raise $1,375 toward our goal and collect so many toys.
