A quick post regarding our rider support and sponsorship. We have had an influx of new applications recently on the website.

Firstly, thank you for wanting to be part of the MK Off Road family. We genuinely enjoy supporting young riders and helping people progress in trials. One of the reasons we do this is because we believe in giving something back to the sport and helping the next generation.

Over the years we have offered sponsored riders discounts on bikes, parts, clothing and support because we want to help families get involved and make trials more affordable.

Sponsorship’s are a partnership. The support we give is offered with the understanding that riders and families help support MK Off Road in return — whether that’s sharing our posts, tagging us at events, mentioning us when people ask about bikes, or simply helping spread the word about a small business that is supporting them. We’d also expect to be used for future purchases of all things trials related. For a small family business like ours, these things really do make a difference.

We have had some great applications, but we have also had a few where, once we explain that sponsorship is a two-way partnership, we haven’t heard back. We completely understand that it may not suit everyone, but we want to work with riders and families who share our passion for supporting trials.

A quick share of a post, a tag from an event, or showing appreciation for the support you receive goes a long way.

We want to continue supporting riders, but we also need the relationship to work both ways.

We really appreciate the riders who already do this — it doesn’t go unnoticed!

*SSDT 2026*
We have four club members riding this years Scottish Six Days Trial, which starts on Monday, 4th May.

No. 106 - Mark Sunter will be out first on Monday a veteran now of many SSDT’s

No. 242 - Paul Wareing with a few SSDT’s now under his belt, he should know his way round.

No. 245 - Matt Dixon getting away from minding duties at BTC & WTC and riding with friends.

No. 246 - Andy Rich is attempting his first SSDT, who knows he may get the bug to do it again.
Sandwiched in between is a long-standing past club member No. 243 - Patrick Wardle

A few club club members will be up there cheering you on, while I’m sure the rest will be too at home.
