Left side healed, right side fresh.

Which side looks better to you?

After the first session, my client went on a beach vacation. You can see their neck got tanned, but their back stayed completely protected. The tattoo healed beautifully.

They took great care of it and kept it away from the sun during the whole vacation. I really appreciate that.

Micro-realism.

I’ve been so busy lately that there are many finished tattoos I still haven’t posted.

This tattoo was completed about a month ago, and I’m sharing it now along with the healed photo when they came in to get a new tattoo from my studio.

I’ve been meaning to post more updates and stories, but there have been a lot of personal things going on, so I haven’t been as active here recently.

Cybersigilism butterfly.

My client requested a specific pattern and asked for the butterfly wings to be divided into four smaller wings instead of the usual two. They also provided detailed reference images for the design.

I added my own style while keeping the original structure and completed the tattoo over three sessions. The first and second sessions took about 3 hours each, and the final session took about 1 hour.

Red ink lettering.

I’m really grateful that this client came back to me after we first met years ago at another studio.

These days, I don’t do simple pieces like this very often.

But red ink tattoos can be a little more difficult to work with than other colors, so this time I thought it would be better for me to do it myself.

I think it’s been about 3–4 years, and I was really happy to see that the color tattoo I did for her is still holding up beautifully.

Microrealism.

I was happy to create a meaningful tattoo for my client to preserve the memories of their beloved dog.

It was also great to see one of my tattoos again after more than two years and see how it has healed.

I’ve been posting about returning clients quite often lately, but actually, most of my clients are returning clients. Last week, I did four tattoos, and every single one was for a returning client.

I also added a small umbrella tattoo.

Cybersigilism long sleeve.

I’m working on this piece in a rougher cybersigilism style with a stronger metallic texture.

In the next session, I’ll clean up the lines on the lower part and add a bowed angel above to complete the piece.

Geometric shoulder piece.

I completed this geometric design using British Columbia, where my client is from, along with the other elements they mentioned.

Since my client has a fairly large arm, I think it took about 5 hours in total.

As a side note, when tattooing thin geometric lines on areas with thicker skin, such as the shoulder, some of the ink may occasionally fade during healing. If that happens, one light touch-up is usually enough to restore the original design and help it stay clean for a long time.

The client asked me to transform a traditional tattoo design into Medusa while keeping the same style.
