2022 where do I even start with you? It’s been a crazy year that’s for sure lol well, it started out rough and one of the hardest years I faced mentally. I was fighting with myself every day, fighting to stay here. I faced these things since I was 11 but for some reason this year was worse than others. I felt like I didn’t have a purpose. It felt like I was on pause and everything around me was going. This year also taught me to trust and listen to god. I feel like if I didn’t listen and go back and fill out a form my life wouldn’t be how it is today. This summer I remember sitting in my room and looking at @charlie story I had been following him for about a year now. And seeing him post the form and just skipped it but something told me to go back and I did and little did I know my life would change forever. It lead to the most beautiful things happening and things I still can’t believe happened. From name being on the marquee of the wiltern, to photographing my first ever concert which was @justmike one of the best shows I’ve seen and photographed. To flying to Washington State and meeting my fave artist of all time and the person who saved me more times than I can count. And photographing his show in an arena of thousands of people. To getting mentored by the goat himself and one of the best out there @samcahill he taught me a lot in time we had and he gave me advice and words I still use and carry to this day. I also got mentored by another goat @aidenawhite who gave me so much of his knowledge and also just one of the kindest people I know. I met so many amazing people like irv and slim and just so many others I wish I could name in this post. Thank you to the team @dreammachineusa for seeing me and believing in me and giving me a shot I wouldn’t here today without you guys. I love every single one of you and I’m forever grateful for you. Most importantly I wanna thank my family who allowed me to chase my dreams and believed in me I love you forever. This year was crazy and amazing but 2023 is my year I’m claiming everything! Ima be photographing shows of the year, ima go on tour with big artists. I’m claiming it now! 2023 I’m coming for you✨ by @mkailaaaaaa
