Every year around this time Alex and I find a song we like and record her doing a drum cover for the Hit Like A Girl contest. This year, HLAG decided to not have a competition, but we wanted to record and post a song anyways, just for fun. This year, My Chemical Romance. #schoolofrockah by @mkarkowski105

Alex finished off the season with an awesome 3rd place finish on beam at Regionals this past weekend.
She had a bit of a rough start to this first year as a Level 10, broke her rib on bars at the end of the summer and had to sit out for 6 long weeks, but fought her way back to have a great year.
I remember thinking way back when she first started competing Level 3, how amazingly talented the level 10s looked… and in a blink of an eye, here she is. What a fun journey to watch!

Finally getting around to posting a few pics from last weekends St Jude meet, some of the action shots looked pretty cool. I can do that. #ikgymnastics by @mkarkowski105
