I’m always pleasantly surprised what people will send me from YouTube these days. I thought I was being rated in the top 50 for being one of the most beautiful people but I guess being rated #14 isn’t bad for the most “Jocked” in NFL Fullback history.

Don’t know the guy who put this rating together but I’m a HUGE fan of him. I’ve always considered myself more “THICC” than “Jacked” instead…

Oh well, I guess I’ll have to settle. 😂😎🫡

From a scouting perspective, Mike Karney was a physical, dependable fullback who demonstrated excellent blocking ability, functional strength, toughness and versatility at @ASUFootball

His ability to contribute as a lead blocker, receiver and special-teams player made him a valuable prospect. He earned honorable-mention All-Pac-10 recognition in 2001

2004 NFL Combine Measurements & Times:

Height: 5’11”
Weight: 254 lbs
40-Yard Dash: 5.02 seconds
Vertical Jump: 30”
Broad Jump: 8’7”
Bench Press: 25 reps

Selected in the fifth round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the @Saints, Karney translated his physicality and versatility into a successful seven-season NFL career with the Saints and St. Louis Rams. He established himself as a reliable lead blocker for running backs including Deuce McAllister, Reggie Bush and Steven Jackson

Karney earned AP Second-Team All-Pro honors in 2006 and helped New Orleans reach the NFC Championship Game. He finished his career with 101 regular-season appearances, 64 receptions, 325 receiving yards and seven total touchdowns

Karney demonstrated how physicality, blocking ability and positional versatility can provide tremendous NFL value beyond individual statistics by @mkarney44

Beyond proud of this RB group. It’s been an honor and privilege to coach them this season. We’re young but ahead of our years. Brayden-

Your mom and I could not be more proud of you after finishing your first year playing football. I’m not going to lie, I was a little leary for you as most dads would be but definitely hopeful for you. I knew you were ready but I did not expect to witness what I saw you do every time you set foot on the field. You played the way it’s supposed to be played. Gritty, tough, and physical. More importantly, the leader and teammate you were every single day. Respecting your teammates and coaches is not normal at any level let alone as an
11 year old but that’s who you are. You are that person every day and those exact qualities will take you far in life. This game doesn’t get easier, it will only get tougher and more competitive but as long as you continue to be you, the sky’s the limit. Love you!!
