[East Java] Tumpak Sewu Waterfall ✨🌴

Mist, power, and endless cascades — nature at its most dramatic. 🔥

📸 Best time for photography is early in the morning to avoid the crowds and get some soft and even light.

Later in the day, the sun casts a harsh shadow on the waterfall side which makes drone photogrpahy/videography a bit tough. ✌🏻

[East Bali - Amed]
Black beaches, volcanos and chill vibes 🌋🐠

Locations:
- Savana Tianyar - Savannah with a view of Mt.Agung
- Amed Beach - Black sand beach with chill bars
- Tirta Gangga Temple - Jungle temple vibes, touristy
- Lahangan Sweet - Beautiful viewpoint (often cloudy)
- Gretek Beach - Hidden Black beach with palm trees, unfortunately lots of trash

Amed is one of the most underrated places we‘ve visited in Bali - beautiful beaches, sea turtles, jungles, deserts, laid back vibe 🤩 taken in Amed Bali by @mkc.visuals

The glow of the sun rising above Mt. Batur hits different 🌄

Getting up at 2am, driving 2 hours just to start a 1:20h long hike up a mountain in the dark seems stupid…until you see the sunrise 🤩

We were lucky, had a clear sky full of stars which turned into a perfect sunrise at around 5:30am. One of those moments you won‘t forget.

The famous US Navy Plane Wreck in Sólheimasandur 🇮🇸 ⬇️

The US Navy Douglas C-117D (often claimed to be a DC3) crashed in 1973 on the south coast of Iceland due to harsh weather conditions. After the wreck was salvaged and the crew members where rescued, the wreck stayed there eversince.

Looks pretty epic to me, surrounded by this post-apocalyptic black sand and rocks.

What‘s also unbelievable is the amount of tourists going there every day. 😂 So if you want to take some photos or drone shots without any influencers climbing up the plane you better go at night 😄

Famous Katla Ice Cave has fallen, but the magic is still there ❄️

The Katla vulcano is located under the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, which is why it’s covered in black vulcano ash - the remains of past eruptions. The tour was not only impressive and something I‘ll never forget, it was also a reminder of how the climate change effects ours glaciers.

The warm temperatures, dripping blocks of ice and rivers of water streaming down the glacier, show how the glaciers are „slowly“ dying. Not too long ago, the massive Katla Ice Cave went viral, but all that‘s left is half of the ring due to the recent collapse.

New big caves are supposed to open up soon and there are smaller caves that you can check out, so it’s still worth going there. The question is, how for how long though.
