Where days go slow and weeks go fast…

If there’s one thing I’ve learned this summer, it’s how blessed I am. People tell me how “lucky” I am that I just end up in the places I do. It’s not “luck”. God designed me and my story to get me where I needed to go. He connected the dots. One of these places is this camp. God set this place on my heart 5 summers ago and it was life changing. The community here is the best and the friendships made this year is something I’ll hold onto forever. One of the most special things is that I get to wake up every morning knowing I get to see my best friends at breakfast. To people that may seem small, but that is a huge blessing.

I’m happy that I get to leave knowing that God used me this summer. The conversations, stories, and connections between me and my campers is indescribable. I may never see the result of the way he used me but I know the Lord continues to work through them.

To my 2026 summer staff,
You are amazing and I will miss every single one of you. You made this summer the best it could have been. I love you guys so much!

1 2 3 DCC WOOO!!!

I went on a side quest this weekend in Dallas to live out a little dream. I grew up watching “DCC Making The Team” and have looked up to these girls ever since. To meet them, learn from them, and dance with them this weekend has been so much fun.

I am very fortunate to have watched one girl from my old studio live out a dream of being a dcc. She has been one of my biggest inspirations. I am very blessed to know so many people from different backgrounds and different dance careers go into the industry. It truly is the coolest thing ever and gives me many different paths to look into and look up to.

This was the best start to 2026. Can’t wait to see what God has planned for me with dance in the next few years! I will totally be back!

To the EDH FĀM, Thank You.

Being apart of something amazing as this has been nothing but special. Taking me into this family my final dance season means the world. I remember watching this team before I was on it thinking how much I wanted to be apart of it. The energy, the vibe, the support/love, and all of the above is something I always looked at on the outside of EDH.

As my senior year got closer I knew something needed to change if I wanted to keep loving dance. So I took a huge step out of my comfort zone and gave it a shot. I prayed a lot of prayers before I went for the first time. Safe to say that prayer was answered in the best way! This is the family I wish I had the chance to grow up with but there’s nothing better than Gods timing.

I had the best time this year and there is no better way I would have wanted to go out! A huge thank you to all my coaches/teachers @howard.bruce @quise.williams @lexi_baines @erika.rogers_ @eva.margrete @insta_trin and @rose_lesak for my amazing senior solo. I’m so grateful for every person at elevated! You guys made my whole year!

I will be back as much as I can to visit and dance with you guys! This is my home and it couldn’t be that if you guys weren’t in it. I truly have the best family in the world. Im praying that I will loop right back to @elevateddancehq to continue at some point if it is in Gods plan for me. I’m Incredibly grateful for this opportunity and I will never forget it! “Missing it is your hearts way of saying, Thank you for that chapter”

Through life there are so many come and go’s but this hello turned into a very hard goodbye. At the beginning of this past school year I met Johanna who was a foreign exchange student from Germany. From the moment I met her I knew I wanted to be best friends with this girl for the year she had in America. Not only did we become best friends, I met so many people because of the relationship me and Johanna had. Those people are now my best friends and the people I don’t wanna live without. We had the craziest adventures and countless laughs about the most stupid things my Joe bro probably said.

As the school year was getting closer to ending we were all aware of the short time she had left. So I decided to throw her a surprise party with all the people we like to consider family. We shared a night of letting her know how much we love her and how important she is in all of our relationships with everyone. We got to do FNL nights, spirit weeks, random trips, parties, prom, graduation, and more. We made memories I’ll hold onto forever.

Today was a day I have been dreading since I met her. A bittersweet moment that I will remember the rest of my life. A group of me and my friends went and dropped her off at the airport. I could barely see from crying so much. Knowing how big of a puzzle piece she is in our friend group it will always feel like something is missing.

God crossed our paths for a reason and that is something I thank and praise him for everyday. This year was unforgettable and I’m glad we all had her for our senior year. We love you so much Johanna! Never forget the family you made here in America! We will take you back anytime!
