Although we are based in the stunning Soča Valley (Bovec), we love to adapt and create unforgettable cycling tours all across Slovenia – just as our guests wish! 😊 This week, despite the rainy forecast, we spent an amazing 4 days cycling around the Gorenjska and Posočje regions, enjoying breathtaking routes, local flavors, and unforgettable climbs 🚵🏻‍♂️ 1️⃣ Day 1: 86 km / 1200 m – Bohinj → Bohinjsko jezero → Pokljuka → Bled (with a must-stop for the famous kremšnita) → Bohinj 
2️⃣ Day 2: 135 km / 2341 m – Bled → Kranjska Gora → Korensko Sedlo → Arnoldstein (Austria) → Tarvisio (Italy) → Lago di Fusine (coffee & cake stop) → Vršič Pass → Bled 
3️⃣ Day 3: 115 km / 2000 m – Preddvor → Kamnik → Mala Planina → Luče → Logarska dolina → Pavličevo sedlo → Jezersko → Preddvor

Tough one… 💨 🌧️ 🌞 🥵 Trails got tricky after remnants of Debby passed over throughout the night. Road shoes = Slip and slide, massive blisters, collecting rocks. Damage was already done before changing the sneakers/socks. Pain train afterwards. Grinder to 100. Joined ADU ⚓️ ⬇️ 500 Club. Torrential downpour, wind, heat, humidity… Thank you organizers and volunteers for putting on such an outstanding and challenging race. Friends, I couldn’t have done it without you. Oh and wifey won 🥇 women’s overall and broke the course record in 12 hours division. 👀 ⚡️ taken in Colt State Park, Bristol by @mkksel

@anchor.down.ultra Race recap: Extremely grateful for this one. It was both mentally and physically tough. Here is some background leading into this race. As some of you know, I had a ski incident which resulted in a fully dislocated shoulder causing multiple significant tears and a partial fracture. I was not even able to run a single mile in March. Instead of giving up and opting for surgery, I decided to do tons of physical therapy. Slowly worked my way up from 2-3 miles to longer runs. It was still unknown how the shoulder was going to hold up for 20+ hours of arm swinging. Happy to get that buckle one more time at @anchor.down.ultra This would not have been remotely being close to possible without the amazing support crew Kris, Mark & Murat. Can’t thank you enough. It was a privilege to run alongside so many great athletes and such uplifting energy. Thank you JP and all volunteers for setting up such an inspiring race. It was a first bikepacking tour for me during the thin air brigade. We were lucky to have an outstanding weather while we pedaled through the stellar route. Where to begin… Conditions were brutal 🔥 which is very fitting for ADU. Lots of highs and lows throughout the night and day. It was a privilege and honor to see so many inspirational athletes on the course such as @canis.lupus240 @paultchekal @hannalittlefield @jasonboothroyd @michael.henry.ortiz and many more. All the credit goes to my support crew @hollyberry0913 @markwilcox001 for this buckle. I could not have done it without them. Outstanding aid stations and volunteers filling you with so much energy and encouragement. Came in 5th place overall.
