“He has made everything beautiful in its time.
Also, He has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.”

Auburn University—how blessed am I to call you home, and now, my Alma Mater.

Four years ago, I came here simply asking the Lord to let His will be done in my life. Since then, I haven’t just seen His goodness—I’ve lived it. Through each person I’ve met, every memory made, and every lesson learned, He has shown up in ways I’ll never forget.

“If you love Auburn, Auburn will love you back.” How lucky am I to love and be so deeply loved by a place like this. Auburn, you have been a dream come true, an answered prayer, and a true blessing. taken in Auburn University by @mkmcgruder

All because of a Tiger—words fall short of just how much this year has meant to me and will continue to mean for years to come. I couldn’t imagine spending it anywhere other than by your side, @aubiethetiger01

If you love Auburn, it truly loves you back tenfold. Thank you, Aubie, for giving me the opportunity to love the Auburn family alongside you—for loving me well, lifting me up, and trusting me along the way.

It has been a privilege to bear witness to the joy you bring to Auburn and its people. Never have I seen the power of kindness and the human touch more clearly. Thank you for an experience I will carry with me for a lifetime🧡 by @mkmcgruder

“I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.”

And just like that preceptorship is finished—and I can’t help but reflect on the past four semesters of nursing school and all that it has meant to me.

If you know me, you know Auburn’s nursing program is the reason I chose Auburn—and as this chapter comes to a close, I cannot be more grateful for the plan the Lord had for me here.

While nursing school has challenged me, it has grown and shaped me in all the right ways preparing me to not only be a good nurse, but an Auburn nurse.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the friends, family, faculty, and staff that have encouraged me throughout this experience—reminding me how much better we are together than we are alone.

I am so thankful to be starting my career in the Cardiac ICU at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham after I graduate, but Auburn University and the College of Nursing will always feel like home! by @mkmcgruder
