The life of a sheep farmer… 🐑😂

#SheepFarmer #FarmLife #Funny #Relatable #MKONOFarm by @mkonofarm

👋 Hey there! If we haven’t met yet—I’m Amanda, the heart behind MKONO Farm.

I care for our animals with love and purpose because I believe in raising food that nourishes both body and soul. 🐖🐑💛

I’m also a wife and mom of five wonderful kids, and everything I do here is rooted in family, faith, and integrity.

Thanks for being here—we’re so glad to share this journey with you. 💫

Knock. Knock.

Elise and Kinsey, clocking in for the day, shades on and forks up like it’s a red carpet. Safety third, style first. (Please don’t ride the forks. We’re professionals, maybe)

Zero chores were harmed in the making of this reel. Several were avoided.

Tag someone who would absolutely ride the forks. 👇

That’s a wrap on the 2026 fire dining season. 🔥
Thank you to everyone who pulled up a chair at our table this year. Kunekune pork and Churro lamb cooked over live fire, long tables out on the prairie, and a lot of good people sharing a meal. These photos are some of our favorite moments.
We’re already dreaming up next year. More fire, new menus, and more seats at the table. Dates for 2027 are coming soon.
Want to bring the fire to your own gathering? We’re now booking private parties for 2027. Birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, or just a good excuse to get your people together. DM us or head to mkonofarm.com to start planning.
Want first access to public dinner dates? Join the list at mkonofarm.com. Seats fill fast.
Swipe through to relive the season. 👉

Three hours of sleep and your brain just stops asking questions. 😴

Exhibit A: my farm hand, fully convinced she’s holding an iced coffee. She was about two seconds from taking a big swig of dewormer. ☕🐑

Farming on no sleep is a whole different sport.

Last call. 🍕🔥
Our final Pizza on the Porchof the year is almost here. Come sit on the porch, take in the view, and say hello to the sheep and pigs before the season closes.
We’ll be firing Neapolitan pizzas with a blistered, chewy crust, made with the best of what this farm has to offer and imported Italian flour.
One more evening on the farm before winter settles in. Don’t miss it.
Tickets are in the bio. 🔗
