Some insane picks from last weekend from the ever so talented @kimie_films and my good buddy and coach/photographer Piper @charlottejiujitsuacademy by @mlabellplus3

Took gold in the Masters Advanced NoGi bracket and took gold in the Masters Purple Gi bracket
Been working my stand up game for the last 6 months or so and I’m feeling much more comfortable on my feet. Hit a couple nice throws today that I’m really proud of.
I’m very grateful for my opponents, they were studs.
Shout out to the best gym ever with the best training partners ever @charlottejiujitsuacademy Also a big shout out to Piper, @edamus and, @zachdaviesbjj for the cornering. Super grateful for yall. 💜🙏
Last but not least my boy Jake came with me today. Was really cool to have him there supporting me. He’s my good luck charm. Love you buddy! by @mlabellplus3

The new gym is so nice, got a room full of good people, and good vibes all around. by @mlabellplus3

My new side quest is to combine these two communities. I’m new to USPSA shooting but the community here is amazing. It reminds me a lot of the Jiu Jitsu community just with a lot less of other peoples hair in my mouth and far less skin to skin contact. @charlottejiujitsuacademy @monroe.jiujitsu

Had a rough start to last nights comp, my G17 was not working right but the boys in Squad 2 jumped in and helped get me going. Ended up finishing the night shooting someone else’s G19, and using someone else’s mags while someone else tore apart and rebuilt my G17. 😂☠️

Shout out to @larperdan for the mags, @bradford_helms for the gunsmithing, (embarrassed I didn’t catch your name) for the G19, and @donnieglocks for keeping it real and positive vibes.

Also very cool to have Scottie the body @schester911 jumping into this with me. by @mlabellplus3

What a privilege it is to teach something I love so much.
What a privilege it is to be healthy enough to continue training.
It is an absolute privilege to clean these mats.

“What a privilege to be tired from work you once begged the universe for. “
“What a privilege to feel overwhelmed by growth you used to dream about. “
“What a privilege to be challenged by a life you created on purpose. “
“What a privilege to outgrow things you used to settle for.” - source unknown by @mlabellplus3

The man, the myth, the legend @brandonmc.ninja
Huge honor for me to meet and learn from Mr.BMac in the flesh and get this picture under the great Piper @charlottejiujitsuacademy drawing.
Huge thanks to @monroe.jiujitsu for bringing BMac to teach. by @mlabellplus3

More expensive than Jiu Jitsu but just as humbling. by @mlabellplus3

@tapcancerout 2026 Charlotte Open. The @charlottejiujitsuacademy team killed it as expected. Was super stoked to help represent @veteransmatcollective with the goal of getting more veterans on the mats. by @mlabellplus3
