Damn….8 years ago I played my first Denver show, and the only show I ever played as my name and not Mladic.

200 + songs made
10 national booking festivals
10 states
4 countries
92 sets
9 live band sets
2 residency’s

Im thankful for the ride Mladic has taken me on. I’ve wanted to quit more times than I’d like to admit. But when I think about all I’ve made happen without a manager, agent, any financial help, zero lessons, literally doing all I have on my own it does make me feel like I’m made for this. I’ve never wanted anything more or tried harder doing something in my life.

With all the ups and downs it’s not easy to mentally handle some days being Bi Polar, Autistic, neurodivergent, and ADHD, but I’d hate myself the rest of my life and feel so lost if I quit. I’ve stopped partying, go to therapy, workout non stop, I do a lot to try and be mentally and physically healthy enough to go out and show the world what I’m made of these days. It’s not easy….but it’s worth it. My life today is night and day different from my days before Mladic. It was a lot of fun but this is WAY MORE REWARDING. harder, but rewarding.

Don’t give up.

It is hard, the politics suck, getting booked isn’t easy, getting paid enough to survive off your music/talent is close to impossible, a lot of people are snakes and fakes, it sucks a lot of energy out of you, it will make you cry/frustrated, you will go unseen/heard by people, your friends most likely won’t support you, you have to be crazy enough to believe in yourself, you sit in a studio more than you’ll hang with people and be invited to do things, you will lose yourself at points and need to re center yourself, it’s stressful……..BUT, you will never know what could have been if you let all that bother you and don’t keep pushing.

I don’t think I’m even close to where I can be and want to be. Is that crazy, YES, but I feel if you’re not that crazy then you have no shot.

8 years……time flies.

Only pic I have from last night. I was the blue channel. I played the same time as KillSmith and another artist on the lineup idk who. I was supposed to play 30 mins. I was given 55!!! This has happened now more than a handful of times and it’s such a crazy feeling/honor. Especially times like this one where I’m playing against someone kinda. And that someone else is really damn good.

The portal was packed front and back, and every pair of headphones was used.

Woke up today and I swear not even 30 seconds after I got out of my truck I heard someone yell “yoooo blue channel you absolutely fucking smashed it last night, what’s your name”?!

My security guard for my stage and 2 others here saw my set at EF and came up to me and said hello and have been a fan since.

Then my boss before he dipped out today says to me “you and Tyler Fisk made this weekend easy for me and I appreciate you both and I want you to come back with him for the fall festival Equinox, it was great meeting you and working with you. “And thank you for not making me look bad taking a chance putting you on. I even had others asking who it was playing,great job!
You’re welcome to play anytime I have an open slot for some reason. See you in the fall or sooner I hope.

Hearing those words from prob the most respected stage manager out there makes me feel DAMN GOOD today.

I will be closing out the basement at The Church Nightclub tonight! It mean a lot to see all the homies pull up for this one. Gonna be playing a lot of new tracks and recording the whole sets audio and video. by @mladicmusic
