Unfortunately I do love…

- Testing out lots of different mediums (my artwork will eventually look cohesive one day)
- Treating myself to expensive art supplies
- A cold glass of champagne
- Oversharing
- Overthinking
- Being sassy
- Starting a drawing at 10pm

✨Bonus point: Listening to the original motion picture soundtrack for Hercules (1997) from start to finish and on repeat for a few days every 3 months or so.

I had the pleasure of picking my own gorgeous flowers at @meadowsweetcroft_skye a few weekends ago on one of the most beautiful sunny days of the Scottish summer so far - and of course I was so inspired by their beauty that I had to draw and paint them (even if they have gotten a little dried out)! Drawing from memory + marking and correcting my own work + drawing from observation around the pool 😎.

I find drawing people from observation tricky at the best of times as you have to be so quick before they move into a completely different position but drawing children from observation is a different level of difficulty- they do. Not. Sit. Still. 🤣
