31 years of friendship with this dude. We keep our stories our own . No one would believe them. I’ve had one of the hardest years of my life. I don’t know if I would have made it ,if it weren’t for the undying love and support from this one. I’m forever grateful we have made it this far. This one fucking crushes. I met Aaron Romo in people’s park in 1995,i instantly was drawn to his abrasive humor. We would meet up again in Portland years later and become the best of friends. Showed me music that would be staples in my life. So many summer days spent walking around with Dee Dee and Oblio ,eating ice cream and talking shit. Aaron put up with all my bullshit bad decisions ,and always showed up for me when no one else did. He was a wild,unpredictable force that I loved so dearly. It’s been a long while since he moved east , but he is and always will be one of my favorite humans. It fucking hurts. by @mle_oblio

I was lucky enough to see John Prine three times. Once at Red rocks with Levon Helm. And then there is the time that we arrived late to the Shnitz in Pdx. John Prine stopped his story to heckle us for being late. I had a John Prine cover band called the Happy Enchiladas, my black metal boyfriend who has since passed, listened to METAL..... and John Prine. Two days ago I went to the mountain and did mushrooms with 2 of my favorite humans, it was magical. We listened to John Prine the entire time as the colts of the sky swirled around us. This one hurts. It hurts like I lost my dear old friend. I know we all are hurting. “It’s a happy enchilada and you think you ‘te gonna drown. “❤️ by @mle_oblio
