My youngest sister graduated this past Friday. She was the only one out of the 8 of us who didn’t have our dad there to watch. He was always encouraging and telling us our whole lives that God had good things. He ended up jotting it down on a sticky note one day & it hung on the fridge for years. I was able to transfer that exact phrase in his handwriting onto this painting for Sarah to remind her of the good things God has and our dad that loved her so much. I know he is looking down from heaven beaming with pride and joy on all that she has accomplished and the woman she has become.

Raising tiny people is HARD, especially in the digital age of endless knowledge and opinions. I’ve found myself more often than not overwhelmed when trying to figure out how to deal with things… and it ends up just feeling like I’m messing everything up and failing my kids 100%. I have found myself in tears countless times not knowing what to do with Halle… but the best thing I’ve ever found to do in those moments is not to google or call my mom, it’s to pick her up in my arms and worship together. It heals both of our hearts and instantly puts our eyes back on the Savior who is the answer. I’m convinced there’s not a whole lot (even the terrible twos) that a little worship dance sesh can’t fix. ♥️

Easter was hard. I miss my dad so much, and resurrection Sunday brought all that has been lost in his absence to the forefront of my mind.

Death. Loss. Funny that I would feel it’s effects on the day we celebrate it’s defeat. But man am I grateful that death is not the final word. Jesus made sure of that. Today I woke with these two lines rolling through my heart: In grief AND IN glory, STILL GREAT is His faithfulness🤍😭🙌🏼

I don’t know which side of faithful you are on — the grief or glory side... but let it be known that He is faithful in ALL of it.

Lift your head
Morning is coming,
there's more to the story
Don't forget
In grief and in glory,
still great is His faithfulness...

Upon the news of my second pregnancy, I was SO unsure as to what the future of my business would look like. It seemed impossible for me to continue to paint and work while having two littles at home. But somehow it always seems to work out... and so far, it has.

Not going to lie, it’s SO hard and something ALWAYS has to give. You can’t have it all... the jobs done, babies fed, house clean, dinner on the table, family happy... and the pressure to feel like you can is a lie. It’s a game of learning balance and compromise. If you’ve figured that one out please DM me🤣

But at the end of the day when all the lights are turned off and the babies are sleeping for their longest stretch (😬😂), being a mom is the hardest easiest most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.

Being able to set down my paint brushes and go rock my babies to sleep at any time of the day is such a gift — something I am trying not to take for granted.

Worrying about how things will work out is pointless, because we never have full control over the outcome anyways. So spare yourself the stress, anxiety and heartache and learn to trust the process and the Lord with it all. He makes all things good if we’ll let Him.🤍
