Happy birthday baby! Enjoy your special day! You are such a beautiful person. You’re giving, gentle, thoughtful, kind, consistent, dependable, etc. You are an amazing husband, friend, uncle, brother, and son. You’ve been a blessing in the lives of your family and friends. I always say it, life with you is so sweet! I feel so fortunate to have met you all those years ago (high school) and that our paths crossed again 7 years ago. So I’m 33 now. 🤗🎉💕 I have no sense of time cause WHAAATTT??? Lol 🤯 But 32 was a successful year for me. I accomplished so much! This year I’m looking forward to achieving more personal goals while also PRIORITIZING self care going forward. I go hard in so many other areas of my life, so today is a day of rest. Honestly…I’m loved well, my ducks are in a row, and I’m in my right mind. That’s all I could ask for. Thank you so much to those that have shown me love today! (Warning: Long post Alert 🚨) Alrighty...here we go!!! Y’all, I don’t know. 🤷🏾‍♀️ All I know is back in the summer of 2017 I swore that I was done dating. Like D O N E done! In spite of my dating misfortunes I wasn’t bitter, I wasn’t angry. I was just ready to do me and put 150% into building Michelle instead of man after man who had ZERO intentions of being with me. So all of the past exes, flings, whatever you want to call them...I BLOCKEDTTT!!!! I was so happy I was doing this for me. 🥰 Here’s where it gets good...😂👀 Literally a MONTH after I made this decision God said “wait a minute ma’am!” ✋🏾🤔 So I was sitting on the couch listening to my mom complain about changing our home decor (as always🙄) and suddenly I get a DM. “Hey Michelle, how are you?” Like as if this person knows me? 😳 I looked at the profile and this person had no pictures and no identifiable information except his name “Matthew Taylor.” I had to think and then 🤯🤯🤯 I realized I did know him! For those who don’t know, Matthew and I went to high school together. He was always kind to me, I liked him sophomore year but we were just friends. Eventually I had a boyfriend and he had a girlfriend. Didn’t think much of it. Life went on. Lol anyway....well over a decade later he slid in my DMs!!! 😂 Y’all I kid you not, from that day forward my life completely changed! Matthew is honestly the most kind hearted man I’ve ever met. He is a pillar of consistency. The way he covers me and cares for me is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced! The peace that he has brought into my life and the loyalty he has shown me is just unmatched. I NEVER EVER have to question how he feels about me. He makes sure that I know. ❤️ But y’all seriously!!! I almost missed out on my blessing because at first I thought NO I’m focusing on myself!!! Ultimately, I realized I could not let this good man pass me by. I’m so thankful for the way that you love me Matthew, you were exactly what I needed and I didn’t even know it. So I say all of this to say Happy Valentine’s Day to my handsome fiancé! 🖤 You make me better. I’m excited for all that is to come. I admire you honey.
