Backpacks are packed, buses are back, and just like that, it’s back-to-school season.

For many of our clients, this time of year brings a shift in routines and priorities—whether it's tuition bills, the cost of extracurriculars, or organizing carpools.

It’s also a great time to revisit your financial goals.
⚬ Are your education savings plans on track?
⚬ Does your long-term strategy reflect the changing needs of your family?
⚬ Are there ways to better align your investments with upcoming milestones?

If you’ve been meaning to check in but haven’t found the time, this is your reminder, whether it’s reviewing your 529 plans or just having a conversation about preparing for the future.

Here’s to a fantastic school year!

A 529 plan is a tax-advantaged college savings plan. Before choosing a plan, it's important to consider not only the state tax treatment but also any associated fees and expenses. Availability of a state tax deduction will depend on your state of residence, as state tax laws and treatment may vary from federal tax laws. If you make nonqualified distributions, earnings will be subject to income tax and a 10% federal penalty tax. by @mlensak

One year ago, friends and family of Joe "Veg" gathered to pay respect to a great guy and a gentle giant! You are not here in body, but always in our hearts. Miss you, big guy! by @mlensak

Amazing up, close magic and mentalist show that blew us away. Daniel Roy did a fantastic show in an intimate setting. This was his last show for the run. He'll be back in a month or so. Definitely worth the wait. by @mlensak

Lexi is staying with us for a few days. I've noticed slight favoritism with Donna's breakfasts. by @mlensak

One year ago, we lost this amazing woman. Still think about what a class act she was: smart, sassy, funny, accepting, fearless.....did I mention sassy?? Blessed to have had several months sharing our home with her. Miss our lunches together (OK, it was her breakfast, my lunch). Got to know her in a very personal way. I do miss our conversations....but mostly hearing "Good Morning, Cookie!" when I sat down with her. Taking good care of your daughter as promised! Love and miss you Ruth!! by @mlensak
