Pretty sure @ninaannnelson and I have forgotten how to use actual words at this point. 😂🗣️

Having her join me on stage for Folded by @kehlani was such a vibe ✨ We couldn’t resist floating into some improvised scatting at the end! That’s always where the magic happens. 🗣️🎸

“THE CHANGE” out now everywhere!! prod. by @uncle.kizzy and keys sample from @madkeys_ ! They did their thinggg on this track! 📝⬇️

I had been going through a lot of milestones in life and really wanted to capture the calm reflection of gratitudes I’ve been experiencing along the way! Seeing how these moments carried into the next and began shaping me as a person was something that couldn’t be taken for granted. This song helped me put to words and vibes how reflecting on these moments made me feel! As soon as I heard Kai’s flip on this track, I knew I had to write about it! I hit him up the rest was magic! ✨💍📞

✨OUT NOW!!✨ “MLLN & Friends - Improvised Jam Session” on YouTube! 🎶

What a rewarding experience! If you have ever been to one of my jam sessions, you know it’s an environment where everyone can be there best selves as musicians and people! Bringing creatives in a room void of judgment and filled with curiosity cultivates my favorite moments in music! It’s so important to break down any and all walls so the music can breathe in its most organic way!

🥁 The way that @curransinha plays drums is so special. He has a deep understanding of how to serve the music through listening intently and playing the drums dynamically! His touch on the drums made every moment of this jam possible!

🎸 I just recently met Brian (@lottabass) at a different jam I hosted and he was the first to arrive! We instantly had musical chemistry! I didn’t hesitate to call him for this because I knew that his intentionality and fluidity on bass anchors the groove and contributes ten-fold harmonically! His solo in this jam was so killing and is a highlighted moment!

🌎 [insert theremin emoji here] World renowned theremin(ist?) @ninaannnelson can enter any space and cohesively glue the vibe! From helping set up all the camera angles to twerking, a theremin solo, Nina never fails to keep the vibes high and put her all into everything! She’s an incredible singer, with a deep understanding of musicianship!

🎛️ I can’t thank @life_gave_ej_lemons enough for allowing us to record in his incredible space! He engineered the session with such ease that the music came easy for us! He made us some amazing chai that hit the spot! (which, as a chai connoisseur, I’m very picky). It makes a few features in the video!

🎥 I had made music with@thisispjae for the first time the day before this session! I knew he had to be a part of this recording but I didn’t know how wide his skill set reached! He ended up, shooting the moving camera and capturing every moment seamlessly! It made video editing so easy and he brought such great energy to the session!

If the world needs more great people and more great music, this video has both so please go check it out and show us some s taken in Los Angeles, California by @mlln_official
