RAINBOW MAGIC x FINLAND
3-28/8/2026

LGBTQ+ art and fashion project run by Tatu Vuolteenaho(@tatutrip) and Jani Maunula(@mlums79) which aims to channel social climate by highlighting the spiritual and cultural heritage of LGBTQ+ community, especially its feminine values and alternative lifestyles.

Queer Witch Mother print fabric installation by me and Queer Witches and Eye-leen portrait paintings by Vuolteenaho plus other art pieces at Oiva gallery, Koulukatu 2b, Ylivieska, Finland / @ylivieskan_kulttuuripalvelut.

Now open weekdaily 10am-4pm until 28th August.

RAINBOW MAGIC exhibition is part of @oulu2026official European Capital of Culture.

Making of and close-ups of Queer Witch Mother.

Manually doodled, sketched and executed; digitally printed 100% Cotton Poplin in the print tile height of 4.8 metres and total of 55 metres in sewn material for the Mother Queer Witch fashion fabric installation which will be shown in Oiva gallery, Ylivieska Funland as part of the @oulu2026official European Capital of Culture.

Exhibition is open from 3rd to 28th August 2026. Opening reception on Saturday 1st August, 5-8pm. All welcome!
