A few moments from last Sunday’s Bud Dub show at @radio_panini 📻

It was a pleasure to welcome Steven Jess Borth II aka @chllngr for a conversation about music, creativity, collaboration, and the many projects that have shaped his journey over the years.

We spoke about sound, process, community, and the stories behind the music, while sharing some carefully selected tunes along the way 🔥

Big thanks to Steve for joining me, and to everyone who tuned in, listened, and shared the space with us.

More conversations, stories, and music to come.

Limited capacity at our anniversary boat party doesn’t mean we want to keep these vibey sets to ourselves.

You can now tap into one hour of reggae, baile funk and edits with @mmanucaa_ via the link in bio 🔗

THE VINYL CORNER IS BACK 💛

A new edition, a new spot, and a new night of records.

This time we’re taking over @peoplelikeusdk in Nørrebro — a brewery and bar with a strong sense of community, where good beer, good people and good things happening come together under the same roof.

For the music, we’re bringing two very different vinyl journeys:

🎧 DJ MANUCA @mmanucaa_
Roots reggae, dub, soulful grooves and timeless rhythms.

🎧 DJ HNRKSN @copenhagensoundroom
Jazz-funk, Brazilian sounds, global rhythms, deep grooves and eclectic dancefloor selections.

Two DJs.
Two vinyl sets.
One evening of music, drinks and good company.

📅 SAT 3 OCT
🕖 19:00–23:00
📍 People Like Us · Jagtvej 135, Nørrebro
🎟 FREE ENTRY

Come by, grab a beer, listen to some records and join us for a new episode of @thevinylcorner.dk

See you there. 🍻🎶 taken in People Like Us Beer Bar by @mmanucaa_

July 6, 2019 - Musa Cascais Festival 🇵🇹

I used to have a project called @reggaemic where I would do short ‘interviews/talks’ with reggae artists & musicians in festivals, concerts and pretty much everywhere!

Fantan Mojah was one of the artists that marked the time when I started to listen reggae music 🎵 Songs like ‘Thanks & Praise’, ‘Stronger’ or ‘Rasta Got Soul’ instantly struck my attention and I’ve been singing and vibing them for almost 20 years now 🙌💛

Unfortunately he passed away yesterday following complications related to an ongoing heart condition 😢

This was a special moment, where I’d the opportunity to talk to him after his concert and he shared a bit about the story behind one of my favourite tunes ‘Stronger’ 💪

Rest in Zion brother - Your music will play 4ever 🕊️🙏 taken in Cascais, Portugal by @mmanucaa_
