Time looks completely different once you become a parent.

A minute can feel endless, yet disappear in the blink of an eye. The days can feel incredibly long, while somehow passing far too quickly at the same time.

Time becomes precious. And before you know it, it’s gone - and you never get it back.

In less than a month, my maternity leave with my little boy comes to an end. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that we’re already here, with only a few weeks left together before a new chapter begins. So now, I’m trying to soak up every little moment.

But how do you ever know if you’ve cherished it enough?

I don’t think you do.

So I’ll keep holding my little boy a little closer. I’ll stay beside him a little longer after he falls asleep. I’ll soak up every smile, every giggle, every new milestone, and every ordinary little moment with him and his dad before our next chapter begins taken in Copenhagen by @mmarialucia
