Some personal text below 👇

My journey into the world of technical solo guitar and complex music in general began with this song. With this post i would like to thank my guitar teacher @alexglassofficial , who introduced me into the world of technique, progressive music and 7 string guitars. At the end of 2020, in the midst of quarantine, I had a typical online lesson with Alex, but before we started, he sent me "Burning Blade" by @andyjamesguitar with the words "Your time has come, check this out, from today we will learn it". I was in complete shock from Andy's guitar technique, and was like "I am very happy with this news, but I don't think I will be able to play this". Sooo, together with Alex we got to work, and every single lesson for almost three months we learned it phrase by phrase BY EAR (there was no tab for it then, but it turned out for the best, since i gained invaluable experience in learning such a song by ear). Since the start of 2022 I have not been attending regular guitar lessons and have been studying on my own. I'm not at the highest level, of course I have mistakes and troubles in my technique, I see them, and I will fix them.

But the message is that there is nothing impossible, just go straight to your goal and practice. Choose the right guitar teachers with whom you will feel comfortable and who will motivate you.

Check out @art.guitar.club , a cool place for filming, recording and studying guitar.

Nevermore - This Sacrament
Actually, I learned this solo a long time ago, but together with @blossom_eternity_and_honour we decided to record a full version of this song now.

I'm also happy to announce that I'm starting my own YouTube channel where I'll be posting some music content later (and not only covers). So find the full version of this cover on my YouTube channel (Link in bio).

Came from Kyiv to Istanbul last week just to see Nevermore debut reunion show. One of the best days of my life haha. @nev3rmoreofficial , you guys made us all very happy. The whole crowd was singing along to you this evening!

Funny thing: after the show, at 3 a.m., we wanted to find something to eat, so visited a cafe near the club. How happy and shocked we were to hear one of Nevermore demos (Chances Three, what?!) playing from the speakers. Of course there was no doubt we stayed there. Specially for us they put some more of NM, so we sang along to their discography throughout the entire dinner (last slide lol).

Thank you for making us shine all week after the show:

@jeffloomis1 guitar demon, one of my biggest inspirations in music and a reminder to practice guitar, compose music and to not give up no matter what.
@vanwilliamsdrums actually one of the best and criminally underrated drummers, your grooves are sick!
@berzan_onen it was amazing to hear your phenomenal voice live. You are a truly wonderful frontman and a nice gentleman!
@jackcattoi perfect guitarist, who nailes all the solos. We’re so happy for you!
@semirozerkan excellent bass player and it was also nice to hear some backing vocals from you!

Looking forward to see what you will do next, guys. And of course we will come to your next shows with the first opportunity, no matter how long will the road take.

Met some of the kindest people before the show, really hope to see you guys again someday.

@alexglassofficial so grateful you showed me NM years ago, this band brings a lot to my life.

P.S. also got a chance to walk around the city a bit, so added some photos of beautiful Istanbul... and a lot of Turkish cats. 🐈‍⬛
