🚧 I know I’m not alone when I say this election cycle has been exhausting, emotionally draining, and deeply frustrating. I’ve not been shy about my disappointment in our choices for President, and I shared as much this week with @cbsnews and @abcnews_au (seen here and in clips shared on my YouTube page).

In the days and weeks ahead, I hope we can find a way to move forward with a collective resolve to do better in the future—by engaging more in the primary process and demanding more from our leadership; by raising our standards and accepting responsibility when we fall short; by taking an active role in our democracy and remembering that our freedom to disagree is part of what makes this country so special. 🇺🇸❤️

🎉 Cheers to THREE years of Bluestack Strategies! Couldn’t be more grateful for the people in my corner, for the lessons I’ve learned, for the opportunities to work with such wonderful humans, or for the experiences I’ve had with this venture. It’s not easy (understatement) and there are many moments where I worry and wonder what I got myself into, buuuuut looking back on the last THREE years, I’m quite proud of staying true to who I am, of the ‘why’ behind my work, and of where I’m headed. So thank you — all of you — for being part of this with me. by @mmgill

Another trip around the sun, and I spent it running the LBI 18 Miler—in the relentless rain, 40mph winds, and subsequent flooding.

Yes, it was brutal. Yes, I cried (a few times). And yes, I’m proud of myself for the work I put into training for this and all the effort it took to cross that puddle-ridden finish line.

Last year, this race was canceled due to a nor’easter. And when they announced the race for 2026 would be on my birthday, I knew I’d try again. So I trained, battled pains and health scares, and got myself ready. I was anxious, but eager to take on this challenge.

The week started with my second half marathon in OCNJ, feeling good despite the wind and rain and cooler temps.

Work consumed my week, but then I had some downtime—proudly sponsoring my godson on his confirmation and enjoying autumnal activities with friends.

I woke up Sunday morning to catch a glimmer of the sunrise for my birthday, enjoyed a few quiet moments before I got myself ready to run. My knee was hurting from the start, but I figured the pain would go away once we got started.

It did not…

🚧: The idea that ‘empowered women empower women’ is great in theory and a wonderful aspiration. But it’s 2026 and we are still watching as women sabotage other women for their own personal gain. And no matter how small or insignificant that step may be in their individual climb, it’s one that tramples over the progress women are still fighting to make. And watching it happen over and over again really, really sucks. Anyone else sick of it? by @mmgill

🚧: Another Friday night news dump by the President with an added threat to violate Constitutional rights. Heckuva way to cap off a week where his personal vendettas and grievances continue to take precedence over the American people paying more than $4 for gas…

As we discuss on our latest episode of @dcsourcespod, these moments are not great for the GOP ahead of the midterms, but it’s also really damaging to us as a nation. by @mmgill

🇺🇸 25 years since our world changed forever.

The emotions hit me hard this morning; overwhelming sadness took over as I watched the footage again and remembered the heartache, the fear, and the crushing sense of despair on that fateful day.

As we reflect on September 11, 2001, may we remember our humanity: the heroism of our first responders and ordinary people helping one another; the unity as we mourned in solidarity over the innocent loss of life; the resolve of the American spirit to rise stronger from this heinous attack.

Our world looks very different today, yes, but in the darkest of times, we can be the light—if only we so choose. May God help us find the way.

Tonight, I walked up to the beach to say goodnight to the ocean, and found myself sitting beneath the Milky Way.

Took these photos on my phone, sitting in the sand under a sky full of stars, basking in the vast beauty of this place.

🚧: The President’s use of AI slop is fervent, but the majority of the images and videos posted show how desperate Donald Trump is to appear strong and powerful. It’s both sad and scary, putting his insecurities and self-absorbed focus on full display. by @mmgill

🚧: The President has immunity from the Supreme Court, he loves to use his megaphone of social media, and he knows how to flood the newscycle—saying he’s a moron is letting him off the hook from his corruption and the corrosive actions of his Administration. Yes, his age is showing but Donald Trump knows exactly what he’s doing and we should all be paying closer attention. by @mmgill

🚧: I get why there’s so much attention on this supremely devoted Trump staffer, but we’re getting sidetracked by scandal and ignoring the security issues here. And all the while, it’s diverting focus from the big picture problems in this country. by @mmgill
