had a lot of fun making this one, it was a lot easier to come up with a composition once i looked at HR Giger’s beautiful artworks for the movie. i took the cast headshots from Topps trading cards from the 70s lol

i will never miss a chance to see this in a movie theater! i love the watercolor concept sketches featured in the art book and was inspired by my latest viewing to make something cute

conceptualized this one all the way back in january but didn't get around to really working on it til recently! i burnt too many laura palmer faces for this and got the smell of ash stuck to me for the rest of the day... cannot emphasize enough how personal twin peaks is to me. 🥰

ive been trying to let loose recently and just make whatever i feel like and just try different things in my design process so here are a couple twin peaks-inspired pieces as my obsession with this series continues

poster for The End of Evangelion + slightly different version of an older Evangelion poster on slide 2… i wanted to use the big cross in reference to all the religious motifs in Evangelion and it was a good challenge figuring out how i was gonna work with it. particularly happy with the type on this one, it turned out really fun looking. credit for the colorized dithering FX goes to @doronstudio and his DitherTone plugin.

been watching twin peaks with my girlfriend and it’s like my favorite thing ever. we’re almost thru season 2 at this point but I just couldn’t wait to make some art for this phenomenal piece of TV 🙏

i figured that nicholson’s haunting stare was a good subject for this poster, and i messed with gradient maps before settling on something that feels demonic. this movie will always be incredible.

incredible movie! decided for this one i wanted to go heavier on the texturing. simple but tight composition, i was honestly just having fun making this

a recent rewatch inspired me to make this piece for this movie which is still just as good as the first time i saw it! composition and colors are inspired by old jazz record covers, especially the work of Reid Miles
