Traveling in Guatemala it was definitely San Juan, a vibrant tapestry of life and color, that stole my heart. Upon my expression of gratitude for this town a local said, ’Ah, San Juan, las mujeres mandan aquí’ - the women run this town. With skilled hands and strong passion, the women of San Juan craft not just stunning textiles, but also shape their town into a vibrant, matriarchal oasis. Every moment spent among these colorful threads and strong weavers is a memory tightly stitched into my heart. 🇬🇹 💕 Catch some highlights for an exciting project I’m working on. It’s our 3-year wedding anniversary, and each moment feels like a serene dream blossoming into reality. Shooting at this dream location in Convento Santa Clara in Anituga was also a dream coming into reality. The video mirrors the pure love and joy that defines a journey that is not always easy, nonetheless with a child, but its our journey. And just like that, another wedding season wrapped up. A huge thank you to every couple, vendors and other creatives in this field who continues to inspire me to grow and get better. Taking a break from weddings for now, but new adventures are ahead, and I can’t wait for next season! This reel is a small glimpse into a year I’ll carry with me for a very long time. To every couple who invited me into one of the most important days of your lives — thank you for the trust, the openness, the emotions, and for letting me bring my creative eye into your story. Being allowed to craft memories that will live on far beyond the wedding day is something I’ll never take for granted. This season has been intense, beautiful, emotional — and incredibly rewarding. As I now slow down, celebrate the holidays with my family, and recharge, I’m filled with nothing but gratitude and excitement for what’s to come next season.
