“But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.’” Matthew 19:14This verse has been running through my head this whole trip. Let the little children come. The ones who are so filled with joy even though they have so little. The ones who want to play with you even though you don’t speak their language. The kids who are acting out David and Goliath and don’t even realize that same God can live in them. This entire mission trip I have seen the love of Jesus in these little kiddos even if they don’t realize it. I pray to be just like them coming home. To allow people to see the joy of the Lord in me and to be filled with a fire and passion for Jesus. This trip only just fueled that flame! We had more than 50 salvations and even more rejections which just allowed us to know the work is not finished. There are still so many more people in the US and all over the world who need the greatest love story of all! Thank you Jesus for your heart for the nations and allowing me to see that these past two weeks! Thank you for all of you who supported me in prayer and financially! read caption…Wow. There truly are no words to describe this week or all that the Lord has been doing. It has been such a blessing to witness His faithfulness and intentionality in every moment. From sharing the Gospel, to meeting fellow missionary kids (and missionary kids who are now missionaries themselves), to even growing in my Spanish 🤗—the Lord has been so good.Your prayers and support have meant more than I can express, and they have not gone unanswered. Through this trip, the Lord has deepened my burden for the lost and strengthened my calling to missions in a way I have never experienced before.One little girl told me, “It’s so hard because missionaries always come and say they’ll come back, but then they say goodbye and never return.” Those words broke my heart. As someone who grew up as a missionary kid, I understood exactly what she meant. In that moment, the Lord reminded me why missions has always been so close to my heart.It made me realize that I want to be that person for a little girl somewhere in the world—the one who stays. The one who gets to love her, walk alongside her, and point her to Jesus day after day. What a privilege it is to play even a small part in God’s great story of redemption.Thank you for your continued prayers.
