I’m on a big delay here since my last post. Things are busy and boring at the same time if that makes sense. My friends and family continue to make me smile and take care of me. I miss the beach. I miss camping. I miss nature. Not walking for 5 weeks has taught me a new level of patience. It has taught me to prioritize differently. I see the world a little differently now. Day 9 update
I have the best buds in the world and I’m so in love with everyone right now. The food, the love, the support ahhhhhh

This massive sense of community and support is teaching me better how to show up for others in the future

Just feeling all the feels and going to pt and talking to cats and sticking babybel wax on my face

Day 7 and feeling better finally! I’m literally drowning in love and support and starting to freaking heal. Only 5 more weeks no weight bearing 😅

Surgery complete and totally in pain but now it’s healing pain, FINALLY! I’m loopy and can make it to the bathroom now by myself. Having dreams that I’m running around and freak out because I need crutches. The babies and Anthony are taking such good care of me. I’ve forgotten to take all the delicious food and bev deliveries. The last time I got to hang out with my sister Megan was a few weeks ago. We had a fire going in the den all day

We didn’t know it then, but that ended up being our goodbye. Just a couple of pyros reminiscing and getting ourselves ready to navigate some big changes. It was a beautiful time

This is the first real fire I’ve had since she lost her battle with cancer on Thanksgiving Eve.
I’m going to keep this one burning bright for her🖤
