Literary agent at Aevitas Creative Management. Just like Linda Belcher but all my kids are plants and books.

Scam alert! An author very kindly let me know that they received an email Sunday from this email, claiming to be me. Needless to say, that word-salad email address is NOT my professional email. All my emails will come from an aevitas official email address.
Please keep yourself safe, and I do not ever mind getting a ping on a different channel to verify an email is legit!

Beyond excited to announce my debut comic series, MRS. GARRUD’S GUIDE TO KICKING ASS AND GAINING SUFFRAGE! It’s a story about the extraordinary women who quite literally ~fought for their rights~ 100 years ago with @idwpublishing! 💪🏼💥🗳️

This is such a such a special project to me, not only because it’s the first sale of original IP for me, but also because of our all-female/NB team!!! 👯‍♀️

Thank you so much to the amazing @hellocentral4212 and @heatherantos for believing in, advocating for, and shaping this idea with me!! And to my agent @mmmlyaght for having my back as I navigate this process for the first time ☺️

Last but certainly not least, I’m extremely grateful to the incomparable @ikadraws95 who will bring Mrs. Garrud and our Suffragists to life on the page!! 💚🤍💜

Keep your eyes peeled for Issue 1 in Fall 2027 👀

Special shoutout to @huntergriffindavis for introducing me to Mrs. Garrud, @erikburnham, @ashleynapier98, @lestoltz, @william_hughes_hpp, and @amandapastunink for keeping me sane. And my gorgeous mama @houseu2day and fabulous sister @jackiemalee for being my inspiration always

More goblins! More swooning! More swamp witches? I'm so excited to be able to talk about @oranjessie's next book with @orbitbooks_uk and @orbitbooks_us, returning to the world of HOW TO LOSE A GOBLIN IN TEN DAYS.

Happiest book birthday to @cyprith! This book grabbed me by the throat and then the heart. As a classicist, its hard to see something new done with the Persephone myth, but Cynthia delivered that and more, AND made me cry. I’m so happy to share a birthday with this special, special book.

I’m so pleased (and a little late) to welcome @theo_plum_ to the team! Theo’s work explores lush medieval imagery and queer plotlines with a dark, dreamy, romantic lens thats impossible to look away from. Theo is open for cover illustration and select interiors, and we will be querying his original works soon - editors, please reach out if any of this fits your vibe!

This weekend, I’ll be at the @writersleagueoftexas Agents & Editors conference! I can’t wait to take pitches and chat about Sff and the much dreaded contract! I’ve been working on my presentation and I think it’ll make a very dry concept a lot of fun - or at least colorful!

Cant wait to see you, Austin!

I’m pretty sure I’ve made my stance on AI very clear, but as the behemoth continues to strangle creatives and the environment unabated, I figured it’s worth spelling it out!

Sometimes there’s an expectation among authors that agents should be involved in some level of investigation into our authors, and that makes me uncomfortable, honestly! I’m not a cop and this is a relationship based on trust and honest dealing. Not utilizing AI to create your art is one of the pieces of trust I expect from my authors, and which my authors can expect from me.

This doesn’t just cover text! It breaks my heart when I read a really cool query but then the character art is AI generated, or there’s an AI audiobook. People of all creative industries must stand together in the face of annihilation or we’re all lost.

Time for a 2026 #MSWL refresh! And I’m sorry about the graphic design, it’s my passion. I’m super excited to see whatauthors are working on, and find the next project to be feral about.

As a reminder, I ONLY accept queries through QueryTracker, which will open for queries 5/15. See you soon!
