Guess what? I had the absolute pleasure of being a panelist at the “The Sincerely, LOVE ❤️‍🩹 Mental 🧠 Health 🗣️Summit” at Bowie State University today! This free event, put together by The Center for Data Analytics, was a fantastic day filled with really insightful discussions about mental health, community, and healing. We really need more of these conversations—conversations that matter and make a real difference in our communities.

🎓 What a day! My big sis Angelia Smith Campbell and I just had dropped our sons off at the University of Central Florida 🖤💛

I’m so excited that our young🤴🏾 kings 🤴🏾will be roommates — giving them the chance to grow together while experiencing college life side by side. I could not be prouder of my nephew Nicholas Campbell and my son Jalen Asomani. I am one proud Auntie AND one proud mother today! 🥹

This situation could not have worked out any better — two big personalities, both able to learn and grow together, teaching each other different things along the way.

Here’s to new beginnings, brotherhood, and watching these young men become who they’re meant to be. Go Knights!🖤💛🖤

#MaryMoMoment: TODAY 🌞I woke up happy to wake up.🫶🏾🙏🏾🫶🏾

I woke up choosing to go to work. I woke up choosing to remind myself every single day that I have people who love me, people who care about me.

No job, no car, no house, no possession in this world will ever make you feel as loved as being loved by your family and friends. Because those are the people who will still be standing right there beside you when the job is gone, when the car is gone, when the house is gone.

So today, I woke up choosing to put a smile on my face. I woke up choosing me. I woke up choosing to live my life for the people who love me, for myself, for my God, and for my son.

Today I had the honor and privilege to make the choice.

I am alive. 🖤
